Auf dem Flugplatz Gruibingen Nortel des Veranstalters AeroClub Göppingen Salach fand die GPS Triangle WM in Deutschland statt. Modellpilot.EU war einer der Sponsoren des Wettbewerbes und unterstützt mit entsprechender Berichterstattung die 4. Weltmeisterschaft in Gruibingen. Insgesamt nahmen 54 Piloten aus 12 verschiedenen Ländern an der Weltmeisterschaft teil.

So climb out, go around the triangle a couple of times gaining height in thermals as you go. Quickest wins? Is that about it? Please give me a few details. Great vid by the way.
Besonders schön finde ich, dass auch ältere Entwürfe, wie die BS 1 und die AN 66 mit modernen Profilen zu sehen sind. Irgendwie ehren diese Modelle ihre verstorbenen Konstrukteuere, wie Björn Stender. Die BS 1 war 1963 das im Segelflug Machbare und nun ist sie auf Weltmeisterschaften mehr als 50 Jahre nach ihrem Erscheinen immer noch aktuell.
