  1. This is what happens the aircraft has a higher performance than the half ass pilot can handle!!! go back and watch his first landing a the 4:35 point in the first video, he did not land it he drove in into the ground.
It looks to me like the airplane was ahead of him the whole time in both of the flights.

  2. It's always a shame when you see so much work smashing into the ground. However l cannot understand the point of a jet powered Glider….it's in the name…Glider! its meant to soar the wind or thermals, not race about the sky.

  3. Extremely underwhelming thrust and it's only able to fit the Kingtech K-45G3  and the Xicoy X45. Those are the two engines you can choose from. That's super limited and cliquey. Can't even upgrade. I doubt this glider will stay in the limelight for long. When about half of modern rc jets have > 1:1 power to weight ratio, this glider glides to the rear of the pack. No punch at all.

  4. What a pitty! But for me the colours was not different enough for up and down side. There was hardly any differences to detect the orientation. I can imagine such mess happens.

  5. really sorry for your lost, I have a Jeemo, too. I´m curious what error your engine ECU displayed, after engine shutdown in the air. Was it low batterie? That issue I know in these cold temperatures.
Greetings and good luck for next time. And by the way, I had same (emergency) landing on maiden flight in -5 degrees. You had more luck, I had to repair fuselage a bit.

  6. Bummer, sorry, that is no fun; that thing sounded mean! But it does make me feel better about sending my YC Virage to the bottom of Shelburne Pond with < 20 flights on it (I changed the Rx location and did not range check… I must have kinked an antenna wire as I lost signal following launch and could only stand by and watch as it glided down into the pond… this is a 2m carbon fiber hotliner with heavy batteries and a big Neu motor… it went straight to the bottom).

The manufacturer should be lined up and shot, there is almost zero difference in colors when looking at the top or bottom of the glider. I won't buy a hotliner without very distinct differences between top and bottom wing skins… all colorful graphics on top, and white black (or blue) square panels on the bottom, no chance of visual mistakes. I am stunned any high performance glider would not do this, that is the manufacturer showing a lack of understanding regarding how these are used. You always mentally 'know' your orientation, but mistakes happen… if you can't confirm at a glance that your expectations are correct, this is what happens.

  7. Looks like a high G stall to me. Too much up elevator leading to too high angle of attack. Also, I'm not sure how it was an 'emergency landing' when the engine flared out, it's a glider after all…

  8. For a maiden flight the pilot was making some radical turns! He was going knife edge and yanking on the elevator. Looks like he was trying to induce a snap and not trying to get a feel for the characteristics of the flight. I think the pilot was not up to the model. What a nice job of fiber glassing. Too bad it ended that way.

  9. Beautiful model but quite fast .With jet propulsion, power increases with speed…In this case we've an "engaged spiral",and pulling the stick up induces increase of rate of turn.Anyhow, congratulation for this beautiful model, sorry for the crash and hoping you fly it again soon!Ahoj z Francie!
