   Many people think that flying twin engines is very safe, but it can be a double-edged sword if you don't realize it and correct it in time

10. I see it at certain air strips but not all and that is a strip of tall grass, the length of the runway but off to one side. A plane with an inoperative landing gear or a dead engine can be brought in over the tall grass and stalled. It would greatly limit the damage to the planes as compared to landing the same plane on asphalt. I know this isn`t a new idea but wonder why it is not used more?
