I have to take exception as describing these model aircraft as "toys" These are no more toys than is a sports car or a membership to a golf/country club. or $80,000.00 Bass boat or any other high end recreational device or pastime. If you want a "toy" you go to WalMart and spend $20 or 30 for a toy plane. What we see here are by no means "Toys"

  13. These are not toys! They are scale aircraft which only differ in size, but the control functions are identical to the full-scale counterparts. Some of these take up to, and well beyond a thousand hours to build and complete since they are built from scratch, not even a kit. Imagine that. People actually engineering and building something themselves, instead of buying it from a store or on-line. Americans have gotten so lazy and no longer invest time in anything. They just want to purchase something for instant gratification, then move on to something else — attention span of a goldfish.
