Die “große Lama” von VARIO ist ein Scale Heli in der 1150er Größe. Ferngesteuerten Modellhubschrauber mit einer Turbine. Die Lama ist bis heute als einziger Helikopter in der Lage, einen weiteren Hubschrauber des gleichen Typs zu transportieren und Er flog im Sommer 1969 den Höhenrekord von 12.442 m.
