the full scale "fuddy duddy" used to be near where i lived and i took a ride in her back in '93 i believe it was . We now have the " Memphis belle here. i see her flying once in a while over my house.

The guy holding the plane while it was being painted, is he still alive? i sure hope so. wear a mask man.
Why would he build it out of wood? Why not aluminium? It's going to tear itself apart.
All that beautiful work, and NO effort to detail it? Where are the rivets and panel lines, and panels..good grief…what an opportunity missed!!!

These gentlemen should be referred to as "Artists", their works are impeccable. The B-17 is one of my favorite bombers from WWII. Thinking about the title of this video, 19FT. B-17, the wingspan is the same length as my Ford Excursion! lol. Beautiful work, thank you for sharing.
