  1. Variable pitch/reverse pitch has been around the R/C world for a while and I see it on 3D park flyers all the time and it's fun and cool. But this scale takes it to a whole new level and something I've never seen or heard. Isn't even the sound incredible !!! I take it the videographer is "Horst" from the comments ? Well great Job Horst and thank You.

  2. 12S 10Ah? That's 444 watt hours, probably weighs a good five pounds / 2.5kg. Ever had a charged 180g 3S 2200 24Wh blow up on you? Imagine fifteen of them igniting. Run!!! Starting to wonder if gas would be safer than lipos…

  3. Germany is streets ahead of the rest of the world in aeromodelling. Quite rightly innovation is admired. In the UK if it wasn't designed by some other guy 60 years ago – be it scale or sport – no-one's interested and no wonder kids aren't attracted to the hobby.

  4. So there was a controllable pitch and thrust vectoring. How did he manage to control all this with just two sticks? Was there a mix programmed to shut down/freeze the controlls of the throttle and the rudder and switch to controlls of the pitch and vectoring on the left stick, or was it the right stick? How strong the servos had to be to turn the A200 along with the giant propeller and th thrust it produces? Or are there simply two pilots flying this thing, because two hands just ain't enoug?

  5. This tech has been available is foamies for over 5 years now. Was just a matter of time till someone scaled it up. Been using planes like this in realflight since 2012.
