  1. Even during take off the P-40 seemed more affected by the crosswind than the others. What could the pilot of the P-40 have done differently to avoid the tragedy at the end?

  2. Another sweet flying vid for sure, to bad about the bad landing , hope he gets it back together soon, Love the coverage of these events, Keep it up.

  3. Thanks for the vid Horst.Love it all that great work flying together super. One sad ending but that's all in the RC game, and a new winter project for the builder.

  4. Another awesome video my friend. 👍🏼 If this video don't put a smile on your face then somethings wrong. Lol. Love those Moki engines!!!! 😀 Sorry to see the P-40 go down. It's never a good idea to use full flaps on a strong windy day. Cheers my friend!

  5. The poor P-40! The owner must have been little unhappy. Representing the Checker tail Clan too. OUCH! Was it a total write off or rebuildable?

  6. The sound alone was awesome! Wonderful to see all those in the air at once.
Very sad though to see the wreck – the P-40 I guess that was – did appear, judging by some side slip here and there that there was an awkward wind problem. Hopefully a repairable airplane.
    Another fine video Horst.

  9. I hate to see a crash from a plane as beautiful as the P40, but they are bad for that, I have had a few and they don't behave when flown slow. Glad to hear its repaired.

  10. Super Horst! Awesome plane, flights, sounds and landings except for the P-40, very unfortunate but glad to read that the restoration is about complete! Fantastic camerawork and final video as always Horst! Danke for sharing! Six thumbs up! Cheers my friend!

  11. First Class Horst! Some superb flying! Shame about the poor P40 – its not the same P40 as one of your other videos where it crashed on take off? Was it too slow, or some sort of instability… nasty twist coming over the fenceline!

  12. Great video as always! The poor P40. I'm sure you know now, but remember, rudder for alignment and power changes for altitude corrections, not elevator. Also due to the shape of the P40 wing, much like the corsair her approach must be "on" the power. Not an idle glide. I hope the rebuild is coming along nicely.

  13. my god having that expensive planes and been an amateur pilot its a crime…Only one pilot of them you can say it deserves to fly to this airshow the rest needs to start from 0,its pitty ,makes me ungry that wasting such a nice models !
