hi guys I’m Martin Pickering from Pitkin RC welcome to this video the first of a new line of videos that I’ll be making in this May first one we’re going to be unboxing the brand new Futaba 18 and EDD world champion edition so that’s how it was in the box first thing we have is the instruction manual as we will see that is huge so we won’t be needing that nice carry case well it’s champion edition and we can see between that’s as we’re used to now with the top-of-the-line puts our radios this model was in the box ok so the first things that we have are colonies to charge the transmitter with this will be challenged by putting into the back of the radio the typical for Tyler on/off switch which I’m sure we didn’t have a use for last time I’m still quite sure whether you spent this time either right orange fruit type of neck strap very nice our stylist full screen here we have included Futaba some thousand a serial bus receiver this one you’ll be able to use the eight channels on it directly or via the club at Espo’s or halibel system in which you’ll be able to use the 18 digital channels which you have played on the radio and the machine itself we all want the 18 MZ world champion edition quite a lot more bling than the previous version a lot shinier much more chrome here and there I don’t know look at see what the other features Alice has above the previous version the first thing that you need to do when you take out the box is actually plug in the battery the battery is already inside it’s just not plugged in for transport so we’ll do that on the right-hand side of the radio just need to plug in that wire into the site once we’ve done that we are good to go as with all 18 MZ radios the first time you turn it on takes a little bit longer than the rest during that day the reason being if you leave the radio for more than four hours it turns off fully or if you simply turn it off and fly again two minutes later it actually doesn’t turn off all the way so I turn on a lot quicker we can just test that if you like turn that back off again and this time we see that it will turn on quite a bit quicker there we go and we are good to go make sure to tune in to the next video in which we’ll be going through all details of this radio and what improvements it has over the previous version
