20. Fantastic model of the classic WW1 triplane and – amazingly well flown too – making it do things it was probably never meant to do! Some crazy stuff!
    The extreme side slip pass was super, as well as even going inverted. Noticed the extreme throws on ailerons when rolling 🙂
    Much I think could also be attributed to having a super size radial power unit.

27. Beautiful display from an almost perfect model.
    I know I'm really nit-picking if I say too bad it uses a radial in stead of a rotary engine, but I don't think there are any rotaries commercially available, let alone for this size of aircraft. And a rotary engine would probably only have disadvantages – apart of being technically accurate – on its flying characteristics due to the gyroscopic effects of the rotating mass of the engine, though the scale effect would reduce its effect.
    It would be really cool to see a functioning rotary in a large-scale DR-1 model. (or Camel, or Nieuport, Fokker E-1, etc.)
    That said, again, magnificent plane

30. Guten Abend Horst, Klassen Video mal wieder. War bestimmt ein schöner Tag heute in Friedrichshafen, wetter sah ja auch gut aus. Wäre auch gerne dort gewesen aber der weg war mir zu weit. Hast du noch andere Videos von Friedrichshafen gemacht? Wäre super! Wenn ja, hast du auch ein Video von einem 3d Flächenkunstflug?
