What a shame. Nice plane and poor flying
Most of these crashes seem to start with too steep banking and therefore loss of lift whilst too low to recover.
Hi, all that time and money wasted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
any survivors ?
i will have my full scale loehle sport parasol up soon, i plan to mimic this flight :O
bravo
The piano is hilarious.
Excellent camera work. I like the way the videographer kept the plane large and centered at all times. Sorry to see it crash, though. I used to haul jumpers in the D-18. Did aileron rolls but never tried to loop it. I think a real one could probably do a loop but the altitude and airspeed weren't there for this model. Sad. It was a beautiful model.
He got bored with flying his plane in ovals so he tried to do something a little more exciting. It was exciting alright. If you want to get into RC and you think you might get bored flying a plane in endless boring ovals then consider buying a plane you can do tricks with. It may cost more but you’ll be happier in the end.
Just another “look at me” I can fly a toy unrealisticallyM??
Stupid.
The earth's been 2 meter too high that day??
Generally speaking, one can't fly those scale aircraft like a pattern ship. I found two other beautiful Beachcraft models that crashed in a similar fashion when the pilot tried to fly them like his pattern ship.
I flew a Beech 18 professionally for a couple of years back in the 1980s. It was actually pretty good at doing aileron rolls.
The blurred figure on the flight line was very lucky. What in hell were they even doing there?? An air strip closer right there if seen by authoritys. As to the stunt work on scale plane… money cant buy brains.. every club has its entertaining members that destroy wonderfull things then show up a week later with something else to destroy
A little bit of glue, some tape and it’ll be good as new. Maybe not ?? It WAS a beautiful plane .
Attempted a loop too low to recover, may not have had enough elevator throw. 1/4 scale models need more room to do acrobatic maneuvers. Rekitted. Oops.
Wow if I commented I get censored.
Total destruction.
?? He wants to kill himself
Terrible pilot. Dont worry they will blame the radio right away
There needs to be rc emergency vehicles that rush to the scene. Stretchers and ambulances along with a life flight helicopter and then later a backhoe and a hearse and stuff.
That’s a bit of a beech?
Plane looks Overpowered
On the loop he never let go off the throttle when he started to come down
A real shame such a BEAUTIFUL MODEL. BUT AS A BUILDER, FLYER, AND DESIGNER, OF LARGE R/C AIRCRAFT AND FLYING MANY UK SHOWS for 40 odd years .
THIS AIRCRAFT WAS A SCALE MODEL AND SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN FLYING IN THIS MANNER AS THE FULL SIZE WOULD NEVER OF FLOWN LIKE THIS.
REALY SORRY MY R/C FRIEND .LOVELY MODEL SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.
Not going to lie, this made me sad. 🙁
Flair !
That's a perfect example of a assholishness awesomeness the plane should had been filled with Barbie dolls so we could see little bodies scattered everywhere
Keep pulling back on the elevator, thinking it will come out of its dive, and all you did was an accelerated stall right into the ground
Buddy Hackett, Mickey Rooney and Jim Backus died in that crash. It is a Mad, mad ,mad mad World. But they saved the Old Fashion, if you get the reference?
Attemted the manouver too low but thankfully he banked at the last moment to avoid tbe fool standing under the flying area who would have been badly hurt.
