  9. Forward swept wings were never a big hit, even when designed and built by Burt Rutan using composites they tended to be very unstable. I was unaware that this wing angle had been tried as early as the '40s.

  12. Beyond huge!!! Detail is amazing. Despite all my flying experience I'm not sure I'd be confident enough to fly that – so much at risk!
    Wonderful to watch and seemed pretty close to scale speed but capable of quite good max speed too.
    Perfect safe landing.

  14. Some Characteristics of the Pelican are very modern and we find this later in the Pilatus in the Pilatus Porter again. Doors and landing gear system are the same like the Pilatus Porter… Beautyful Model…

  17. What a great model! The "rebirth" of the Pilatus Pelican, since the only ever built "real" plane does not exist anymore. A big praise and real admiration for the builder of this model, hats off!
