2. Vielleicht einen kurzen Nachtrag zum Vorbild für diesen K-Max Heli. In der Armee der USA gibt es diesen Helikopter mittlerweile in einer ferngesteuerten Version als Transportdrohne. Sie wird von Lockheed-Martin umgerüstet. Dieses UAV (unmanned Air Vehicle) wird von den Amerikanern in Afghanistan als Warentransportsystem eingesetzt. In der Schweiz wird das Vorbild dieses Helis von der Firma Rotex für das Helilogging (Holztransport per Helikopter) eingesetzt.

9. does anyone know who has the plans for this one or the original heli that Kaman made for the air force. My father worked for them for 50 years and retired but he passed last year and it would be a great tribute to him and guys like him.

11. Mein absoluter Favorit bei den Helikopter. Ein ganz starkes Modell mit ungewöhnlicher Optik

12. An absolutely beautiful model. I find the technology that has gone into this model amazing: the small turboshaft engine, the transmission for the dual intermeshing rotors and especially the control system (collective and cyclic pitch, and differential collective for azimuth control). A wonderful technical feat!
