foreign for foreign speech speech spee [Music] for foree spe Okay so it’s a little bit late but we have our F5 from our good friend Carlos at CM Jets so he’s just driven down from Galia that’s about 10 hours north of here we’re going to have a quick look at it and then Carlos is going to get back in the car and drive 10 hours back up north to finish his one so we have two for jet power in two weeks time it’s going to be a very busy two weeks for you and you and it’s going to be a very busy two weeks for me as well as this is currently in Gray and it’s empty we need to effectively build it and paint it but first let’s just uh unbox it we’ll let Carlos uh play with the knife that way if he cuts into it it’s not my fault now it’s definitely big because this is just the rear section which you can see already takes up the entire table then we have the no section over here wings and everything else so so it comes with all its uh scale detailing all the rivets panel lines little screws everything else how heavy is it not bad so you say it’s lighter than the original I hope it hopefully hopefully so this is originally the tomahawk F5 uh which probably a lot of you have already seen fly or at least you’ve seen it online Carlos bought the molds off of Tomahawk uh and then you you changed some things sorry it’s it’s not completely the original mold modified some things no nothing or oh okay my bad so it’s basically then the the tomahawk F just now produced by you so Carlos why did it take you so long if it’s the tomahawk kit brother with a surprisingly small R itself within the fin but of course that is the scale see you’re unboxing that here’s a quick look so not sure if you can see the scale details there but it’s got all the panel lines rivets screw head the lck what it looks like inside I haven’t actually seen these yet it’s literally just Ave we’ve got air brakes pre-installed same with the uh landing gear covers so it should just be a case of installing the servos and push rods and programming Run’s half yes I’m going to need a bigger shed nothing a little wiggling can’t fix it looks good it looks big but things like Glass isn’t in and we’ve got a little over a week to finish up and I still have my day job to go through every day as well so going to be a few long nights so this has to be ready to go by when are you going next Tuesday yes next Tuesday currently Saturday no here here Wednesday you arrived here Wednesday yes so so I have to have it finished Tuesday evening no tu tu you need we the morning evening great so Mond evening so it’s currently about what I don’t even know what time it is it’s 5:00 Saturday so we’ve got a few hours tonight got Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday that to a week Sunday and then Monday it has to be already clear Co basically so it can be dry and safe for him to put it back in the car and transport it to Germany how do I get into these uh situations and how come you’re always involved in these situations with me anyone who doesn’t remember caros is the guy that uh we had the stressful moment when uh doing advert for Vol the airline which if you haven’t seen that video on the channel it’s uh it’ll be about a year old now but it’s a really interesting crazy happy sad tearful story about the adventure of building and flying an Airbus indoors for a TV adver One Wing another I’ll tell you what considering how big the plane is it still looks like rather small wing do we have um the the missile holders as well yeah Le that’ll add an inch onto either end see I can it’s handy because this Workshop as you may be able to see now in this particular angle as opposed to the usual backdrop view that you guys normally get it’s uh this place isn’t too big and normally as soon as you build a big plane as soon as you put the wings on it gets rather tight having to sort of along the edges this one’s handy though because it’s really long but it’s got quite a small wingspan so it’s still easy to walk around even with the wings on hand it back a b more space see this is what you need when you go to the Flying Field you need a Carlos while you’re passion about talking to camera he gets the plane build what he doesn’t know is that I’m not going to open the gate for him to be able to leave until we finish painting either so he’s going to be here for the next week he’s suddenly pretending not to understand English really low elevators on the F5 there obviously at the moment things are held on with tape but uh once we’re finished that will all be locked in place we do have a little bit of sanding to do here and there just uh finishing off after all it is basically the first or second attempt out of the uh mold so still uh a few minor touchups caros assures us all that uh if that is ever required that will all be done at factory before leaving his property so Fitness there we go easy to build all you need is a little bit of tape and these then we’ve got the uh obviously this is a twin turbine in real life uh chances are or we’re going to be installing a jet cat P220 single turbine in the center uh so it’s obviously going to have don’t do that it’s not like we’re on TV um a b bated pipe so it’ll be splitting out into the uh two exits these come standard in the kit yes these are uh actually metal so you don’t need to worry about having to paint to make it look metallic then metal as standard fit on the back there and look brilliant so obviously got our nose gear right in the center here so that’s easy access canopy lifts off from here so basically we’re going to have to work in this Center section for power box batteries and so on no hang on nose comes off comes off easy yes there we go so that’s handy so four pins and a couple of magnets and obviously that’s our uh battery tray where we’ll be putting our batteries and depending on the CG we may be having to install our power box or other things there as well time will tell but we’ve got uh so this is the duct nose version no no it’s yeah but there there’s two versions of this because you have two versions of the F5 so this is the uh duck beak version the flat one there’s also the rounded version and this is the single seater M and you’re also making the twin seater which makes this model even bigger or longer right 33 and the two seats is 360 30 cm more okay so so so it’s about that much longer still in the in the Twin cater so we basically have a double canopy about there mhm and then everything else gets pushed further forwards it’s so big it doesn’t even fit in camera now hang put that over there if we twist it we should have view as well I think we do that try get the nose over there no just move the landing gear so scratch anything so how’s that for the first view of the CM jet F5 it is a big plane it’s a monster but also monster amount of work left to paint it and assemble it in a week but as long as you excited you can do anything and I think it’s fair to say we’re both excited right yes totally then we have the landing gear which works on uh what is it so it’s electon in in your prototype is electon and original Tom is but in in mine is full electr oh thanks thanks caros apprciate that you’re it’s not like it’s not like I use electron retracts in every single plane that I can but uh kids will be electron for our kids okay except mine except your yes okay we we’ll we’ll be having words about this once uh once we turn the camera off now we’ got the main legs as well some kind of thing big chunky Wheels oh okay sorry that needs to be so that can be filled with that take off so you have a nice high angle of attack for takeoff and a lot of suspension of Landing so that’s connected to a to a valve take off when you’re about to take off you activate it and it pushes it out okay Okay so we’ve got electron retracts I’m guessing we have electric brakes but we still we still need an air tank for the for the nose wheel that only for that okay oh well we can do that small little tank don’t need much for that there we go we need to turn the camera off now get sanding get painting painting some more and get her finished we will be filming a video on the main Channel about the process it isn’t going to be the usual perfect backdrop video because we have a week and a half to get this thing done so it’s going to be rough and raw but we’ll be showing you uh the whole process from plain GR to the final chosen color scheme which might be a little bit controversial it is scaled and it isn’t scaled all at the same time yes more about that in the final video though just check if uh anyone here’s got any comments before we Load log off torpedo law why can’t you be my neighbor I’m not sure Toronto is a little bit far away but if you want to come over here you’re welcome mate uh Jay says that that F5 is too big to transport around are there plans to make a smaller version Carlos yes are you planning on making a smaller version no no no so only big but for transporting it about it does split down the middle so you don’t have to have a massive van to be able to transport it you can actually have half and half hello Robert Young from Switzerland maxo flies absolutely great plane thank you it is it does look nice so I think that’s it everyone thank you all for watching we’ll see you all in the full video we’re going to get to work and I think Carlos is going to head back home to Galia so in the 10 hours it takes him to get home I hope to have some degree of paint on this you guys anyway in two weeks in jet power see you all in jet power
