we are at proing in Germany in bad sassendorf this is probably Europe’s largest general aviation trade show fair and exhibition we’re going to be flying out on the main line over there but first let’s have a look inside the tent at everything that’s on display unlike jet power where I’m kind of up to date with everything because it is so General here and not as aware with a lot of the Scale Models what’s going on but we’ll show you some of the things that we found most interesting so as we come in first thing we have slightly unusual we have light stands with magnifiers which may be simple but for certain jobs could come in very handy big models absolutely everywhere we got genen here from Germany Air Classics which I mean yeah this this is starting to look like jet power but you’ll see as we go on we got the Fiat g61 these we have to show you though we got some models back here which have got a glass exhaust that’s right the exhaust pipe isn’t metal it’s seethrough it’s made out of glass apparently the reason for that is because when they were making them out of metal they were constantly fracturing and breaking because the RPM and the vibration was the right resonance to break the metal whereas the glass holds up just fine interestingly they’re actually hand blown so each each every one is different but they hold up fine apparently they even crash them and they tend to be okay how do you clean them afterwards you like this you just put it in the dishwasher brilliant all kind of embroidering get your name put on a t-shirt a sponsor you know as you whatever we’ve got quite a few of these four strike Motors different brands here which honestly I’ve never heard of but we have some really interesting options these ones seems to be connected up between themselves which must be for uh oiling and lubrication but slightly different to what we’re used to seeing on most four strokes different Servo brand gdw Servo say hi and of course one that we are well aware of from other shows Tomahawk Aviation also with the ums lineup of fourstroke engines which are available in a load of different sizes from 55 CCC all the way up to 265 cylinders like that one there’s are quite a few furas here always popular and then as we move on obviously Tomahawk are known for all of their massive planes and they have a lot Biggers bigger ones outside but of course next to them we have our good friends at jet Cat still for me the best turbines out there but sure maybe I’m a little bit biased and here we have something basically new for the fair this is the brand new JetCat p 3 3550 Pro so 350 Newton approximately 35 kilos thrust which is probably going to be very popular with the current style of big 3D Jets coming up so we”re already seeing these installed in a lot of the big 2 uh 2.6 M futuras with the vector system in the back for 3D it just gives that extra power which these models on a 300 maybe not quite enough then we got big man there mark Petra good morning guys one of the big guys here at jet cat he teaches me all I know about these turbines morning good so glider it some really cool and really really strong gliders they’ve got one new one here which is the G Max this one is basically full carbon they flew it yesterday and basically you cannot rip the Wings off it it’s got the turbine inside which comes out the back and they’ve now got landing gears in them as well so as far as I’m aware you can now fly them in the US cuz cuz you can have a wheel which can have a brake which I think was a requirement and a limitation before for flying turbine gliders in the States now it is very early so a lot of people here are still setting up but of course our good friends at Power boox showing us all the latest and greatest products which this year we’ve already got it’s not out yet but we’ve got a new PTO tube for our speed sensors so this is the standard version which as we know is magnetic so we can hide it away for transport but they’ve got a new one now which sticks out further and allows for an even more precise uh reading as it’s further away from the surfaces and it looks a little bit more scale as well so for those scale applications that’s a benefit and then here we have basically released last week I think it was the mobile terminal so this is finally replacing the uh uh mobile app which hadn’t been working for a little while so this now basically updates all of our power boxes and other uh Power boox Products we can either use it directly connected to the power boox itself or we can still use the bluecom so we can do it all wirelessly this connects to our phone or to a home Wi-Fi and it just removes the need for a laptop or computer at at the field or at home to do all those setups one and only TR hammerstad this is the one with the p550 yes yes crazy only one question M when’s it my [Laughter] turn possibly my favorite model of the show next to Tron of course Raven it’s three and a half M I think it is yeah 344 it’s got the jet cat PT P 10 pt10 spt10 so it’s basically 100 Newton turbine moving the prop which we saw it yesterday and it’s absolutely stunning The Noise the speed and of course the color scheme made by DH Color Works you can just tell that it’s his design no one at the moment is doing color schemes quite like it our friends here as well at uh Servo as we skipped over them a moment ago we’ve got here just sneak in here the pilot RC fc1 this is the 2.2 M version this one has got the p130 in it and it’s already crazy good we’re actually setting one of these up for Western Park this year which I’m going to be flying I’m flying over there in two weeks time to test it ready for the show and really looking forward to to uh flying it especially after seeing how this one went yesterday Escape here before we get kicked out let’s move on we got the grub they got a few different sizes of this this one’s obviously something new coming soon we got the smaller ones outside flying as well got hoo with all of his amazing scale helies hang we’ve we’ve lost Raquel on the helicopters we got but slightly different to this kind of we’ve got all kinds of small knickknacks and everything so here we have basically all 3D printed scale details that we can add to our models I would say that they’re probably resin cuz they don’t seem to have all the same minute lines that you tend to get on 3D printing and for scale guys this is just amazing just pick up whatever you want glue it onto your model paint it if necessary and you’ve just taken your model to the next level we also have all kinds of things that we’re not used to seeing so for covering we’re used to Aura cover scale guys tend to use basically aex but here they have something different it’s all different kinds of pre pattern covering so when you put on the model you don’t need to do all the crazy hard work of all the little individual different colors this comes basically as that as you see it then of course our favorite show coming back this year jet power 20 2024 in a new location we’ll be there we’ll be having some more fun we’ll be doing another one of these videos with all the new Jets probably one of the more popular stands where you can get your uh waffles and pancakes and so on and our friends at era bertics so Bert putting on a massive stand here been very busy all week if we sneak peek behind here we have of course power box stuff got to love it our good friends and sponsors back when I was flying iMac and I was competing mtw silencer they make some really cool silencers great power low noise especially brilliant for U iMac competition freestyle 3D and so on I’ll admit I’ve got lazy I’ve started installing the standard uh exhaust that come with the kit but if you’re going to install any kind of uh a pipe these are definitely still the ones to go for got Horizon Hobby even with uh slightly smaller stuff we have the brand new or relatively recent Draco the small version which have to say is super cute but my favorite is definitely the SR71 which if I had a Spectrum Radio to fly it on I would definitely have to have one of these in the hanger heck I might have to have one of these just to hang it on the wall on the roof somewhere that is cool and then they’ve got the uh brand new released very very recently RJ gritter the cathlon he’s putting on some amazing full-size shows over in the states and now we can do the same in a small version from Horizon got the new nx7 e which I’m not sure if an I’m a fan of the white and Jew’s out on that one Mercy models so basically these guys make wooden kits of a load of different models mainly Jets I believe quite cheap heck of a lot of work but as you can see this one the uh f104 made out of wood got a jet cap P220 inside doesn’t all need to be composite lots of more small little things we’ve got carbon tubes rods copper pipes so on and we even have here a guy making stands so if you’re a big Builder I mean it’s only modular metal Parts but you can make it you can adapt it to your own uh Workshop this is basically a table that slides so you can have it at different angles however you need same for the models twist it work on things just in a little more easy fashion than trying to bend over and get into our models some place here are still shut it’s not quite open yet we trying to do this before too many many people get in got King Tech Luxembourg here we’ got uh all the new Jets from jmbb as well have to say I do quite like the look of the big J10 I mean I love mine but this one at 3 m 70 it has got to be about the same size as the ones that uh Ralph and enrio have the really big ones so that one with a vector thrust must be very impressive as well shark which is kind of I don’t know should we call it just a fat fura it’s probably one of those where you either love it or hate it maybe but it’s definitely plumpy and here something very new king tech seem to have brought out their own turbine helicopter so we know that they make a small turbine for helicopters but it’s always a problem to find kits to put turbines into a helicopter they seem to have just decided to make their own got the air intakes we don’t have the turbine out the front liking most turbine helis it seems like a decent option maybe Raquel would agree or disagree then what have we got got uh looks like opala is competitors basically so uh par Motors paragliders parachutes so on little bit of everything got perrit this is all from the uh German dealer we actually have all the guys from perrit here as well at the other end we’ll see them again in a moment gno display yesterday with the big suco amazing though we got the fiala 20 no this is the 250 5 cylinder thought it was bigger but the noise doing aerobatics and pushing on 3D aerobatics with a fourstroke 5-cylinder engine amazing then of course the make all different sizes and how about that what kind of model do we need for that I’ll tell you what kind of model A bluming big one okay we need to rush through a bit we’re exited to see more people come in and they’re going to be opening shortly we’ve got all kinds of different gliders from flight Composites a lot of different dlgs especially stay tuned for the channel we’ve got some dlg content coming soon I’m just building one of my own and we’re hopefully going to have a play with some here at the trade show as well so stay tuned for that all kinds of different accessories glues lights pumps you name it here at proing they’ve got everything everyone’s getting ready for the show to open got RC Dome with more batteries servos wood glue you name it whatever you need or a cover covering in all kinds of different colors opaque transparent we’ve also got the aura cover guys actually outside with the whole lineup if you not at need a retract for your glider all kind of all kinds of different sizes nice set see if we can get one that’s sort of semi loose there we go Servo moves the and that pushes the the wheel out for our glider then we’ve got another one here which activates the brakes which push on there okay in out and is uh departing position position uh-huh okay why different position for for for take off and Landing suspension plan you have the uh the tendency no the nose digging okay yeah and um to protect you you can change the nice idea this is landing position yeah this is the stand up one and you have a lot of more position to do that whereas if it’s only half it can only do that we have a additional position additional throw front about uh 6 cm yeah in front of that’s that now that now that is a proper Brak as well nice option thank you got all kinds of big planes small planes wooden planes composite planes you name it we’ve even got Mr ugly guy GeForce gliders of all kinds stuff that I know nothing about how about that T6 Texan absolutely beautiful we even have a company here selling vacuum cleaners which I admit I know absolutely nothing about big big fox but Al turbines with all the 3D printed Parts made into them as well big batteries craft pack craft pack batteries Motors servos you name it hiling shop I’ve bought from these guys before some great speed motors as well lots of different gliders very bright and definitely very pink Robbie where amongst other things is also where I get all the light wheels from for all my 3D Jets and this hidden away is the model that we’re flying this weekend this is a half scale pits Arrow built by 1/3 RC kit it’s got 195 cc engine in the front it’s weighing about 28 kilos and sure it may be a slight departure from my usual style of flying very much a sport scale but we’re trying to fly it as if it was basically a full size this one actually speaking with presentive for this show the idea was initially I thought maybe we could fly the one that I’ve flown before but that one got sold so he actually offered to build this from scratch in a month we literally test flew it on Friday and he started traveling up here on Sunday very much last minute but it’s all worked out and it flies great this is a new jet that he’s building as well this is the man behind it all so if you’re looking for a wooden kit that you want to build DIY it mainly scale kind of models vient is your guy then of course next to him we’ve got our good friend Carlos from CM Jets he makes mainly all the fuel tanks that we used to seeing and one of these days one of these days he might even finish the F5 which he promised me at the last jet power would be ready in a month’s time so that was September 2021 we were going to be testing it in October 2021 um he seems to have less of it done now than then because at jet power he had a whole plane now we’ve got a nose cone so hopefully one day we’ll be testing the F5 but anyway we keep going our friends from Frank turbines which where’s the big 1,100 from last time ah this is not this year this not yes waiting for jet power then yes okay we’ll see you there if you want little tiny accessories things that you can’t find anywhere else chances are here at jet power at uh not jet power Pro Wing they’ll have pretty much everything that you could ever need got kst servos are here over here for the first time I think ever I’ve not seen a Hobby King Stand before they got all the uh edfs here and foies and uh little toys to have a play with we’re halfway there guys so now on our way back again our good friends from perrit so we saw some of their tools over there before the they’ve actually come over all the way from England for the show more edfs load of fun I mean the quality of edfs and fies these days is just they’re knocking it out the park it’s got all the scale detailing riveting everything and in ever more complex models and who doesn’t love an A10 lots more kits we got kits we got Spinners and how about that we got metallic Reds all different colored shapes of carbon fiber weaving how they make them in the shape of a of a spinner is beyond me it’s an ability that I simply don’t have yet so we still got some place which are closed up speed controller you want a speed controller might be a bit big for a I know it’s a 1350 no but W makes some amazing speed controllers top of the line as well our good friends from many many years ago revok they may not be here at the moment but if you need to protect any of your models they make a wing bag for it if they don’t have a wing bag for your specific model in your specific size they’ll make it for you take some measurements send it to them they’ll get it done and they’re actually releasing very soon now a set of bags for helicopters as well so these are still uh sort of finalizing prototyp so there’s a few minor details to uh change before they go online but soon we’ll be having bags for hel’s as well as for models planes and jets got final model bow with some beautiful models F16 F100 l39 that’s right we keep seeing all kinds of different accessories these ones we got extension leads wires more glues adapters connectors speed controllers and Serv of all kinds of makes and and manufacturers these ones are back to grer of course we’re in the land of grer we’re in the land of Germany more accessory got plasma bags landing gears all kinds of things anything that you need you’ll find it here at throw hacker which seem to be very focused this year on all the jetty lineup of radios not sure if there’s anything new or not not really up to date with uh with all the Jetties these we like smoke smoke cartridges unfortunately we can’t take any back we’re flying home so airplane and basically TNT is a nogo you won’t get through security with that funnily enough the thing that seems to be the hottest seller of the proing are these basically just foam put on your work toop to protect your model everyone and I mean everyone is walking away with these they also really good for putting him in the trailer and strapping down the model put it over the model it protects it a bit and everyone seems to be loving this one was rather serious it’s a beautiful model beautiful colors nicely finished saw a fly absolutely lovely what more have we got so more engines that we’ve not heard of hornet Hornet 75 and a hornet 125 CCC so these are our standard sort of AA IC 3D models kind of thing two stroked twin twin cylinders Falcon props of course one of our favorite props without a doubt if not probably our favorite realistically use them on all of our 3D models these ones we’ve never heard of again RS I we love the RS from Krill it’s a awesome flying model but how about the engines again four-stroke engines but look at how they mount we’ve got these amazing mounting systems which I’m guessing must be an option because they all seem to have them included but the benefit of this is that screwing these in and out you can actually gain the thrust so you don’t need washers just tighten it up loosen it up put it where you want it bolt it back down and you’re good to go and if you need to adjust it you can just do the same as many times as necessary got more and more wires adapters uh balancing leads wires it’s a modeler’s paradise especially a true modeler we kind of lose it nowadays cuz we’re all into three it’s finished models planes that are finished ready to fly and even with Sero installed but if you’re a builder this is the place where you want to and need to come and see based on the name and all the cutouts these guys basically sell CNC so probably cut whatever you need 3w been going for years and years we’re actually sharing our slot with them at the at the show uni lights any kind of scale model any kind of Lights if you want something bright these are the people to come to nice bright lights and you can see just from the amount of variety that they have that no matter what size model you have what kind of scale model you have they’ll have a light to fit you right column engines talk about a beast W four-cylinder what size is this one 310 310 with electric start as well that’s a rather unusual exhaust is it is it blocked here or it can go or go all the way around full Ring full ring I would have never expected to have something so I can go that way I it’s just s it sound sounds perfect ah see these guys are smarter than I am friends Rick and Brendan at T give us a wave guys Rick give us a wave then we’ve got our basically the organizers of the event got Engle model Bell they got everything you need here in Germany got rotor engines props their own brand got wooden props engines radios got the sky lups in a load of different colors which seem to be getting surprisingly popular these days most likely due to their cost which is quite uh quite low we got a few models here this one’s the uh Voyager which I believe Leo is flying beautiful flying plane we’re back to Horizon back to uh our favorite stand the pancakes again what more have we got King not sure what these what we got here we got no idea see there’s just too much here to get into a single video rescue so if you need a turbine repairing if you don’t want to send it back to the original manufacturer these cars can normally get it sorted for you for the same or maybe even less pric than the official guys and VP there’s going to be a video coming soon on these but how about glasses which provide you with a head-up display of t while you’re flying sound cool stay tuned for a video on those coming real soon so if you aren’t subscribed already make sure you get subscribed for that one everything we even have pins of all kinds I actually bought one of these at last jet power all different times of really tiny little drill bits which is ideal cuz trying to find small drill bits at nor noral uh shops very difficult here you have a whole selection very cheaply there’s a lot of accessories as well here for uh CNC milling all the all the hard work that goes into building your own models I mean we have little tools for for for gluing in and putting in all kinds of filler and so on stuff that goes way above my skills we’re coming to the end here again we’ve got more wooden kits this one is fun model bow. de again it’s not really my scene but not heard of them there’s loads of companies here which I’ve not heard of before pure qualitat laser cut so again laser cut Pro proing was always a place where modelers true modelers came now it’s getting slightly more into Jets and 3D and so on but it was always traditionally that kind of stuff laser cut wood Parts glues and accessories back to char Servo our friends where they’ve got the super high voltage servos which run with the power box super high voltage competition so first power box which has 6s capability for those servos which have 6s capability which again is basically to allow less power draw so less amps through the same wire so you don’t need thicker wire even if you have longer tractions and of course you get more power more speed out of the servo magazines wow it’s been a long time since we’ve seen magazines unfortunately it seems to be sort of a dying thing now with internet Facebook and uh YouTube videos like this one so sorry about that guys got dope dop uh true traditional very old school little models we went past some diesel models as well earlier f3a we don’t tend to see f3a models anywhere that we go but just look at how deep that fuselage is is you can see why they knife edged so well it’s basically got the same amount of surface area on the wings as it does on the fuselage got the bip plane version here as well the glacial SE flicks so more beautiful gliders I do have a spot a soft spot for gliders I’m going to have to get myself one of those one day but it’s going to have to be like these where we’ve got a turbine on top guys from C models always with some beautiful beautiful models and if we already liked the fly baby which is and the Fly baby is what 4.6 M 4.4 4.4 almost but in the super chipmunk scheme which Ali puts on everything as well looks absolutely stunning got the Diablo the small version of the Mesto in some really really bright colors and the new 3D machine where they getting closer and closer to the all up weight and Agility of a wooden plane but now Encompass it without the issues of AA cover which you need to be looking after all the time composite of course remains new forever and basically we’ve been all the way around this has been our quick presentation of proing 2024 let’s have a quick look outside see what’s going on if there’s anyone flying it’s actually beautiful weather here this is Saturday sun’s out looking forward to our flying going to be flying about lunchtime today with that big pits
