  1. I had a friend Bob Stelter who was a nose gunner on a B24 Liberator during WWII.

I was an artist, joining the art group at Rockwell International during the B-1B program.

Bob told me stories of his time during the war. He also taught me how to ink a wheel correctly.

He was my friend and a true patriot.

  2. Everybody talks about the B 17 Flying Fortress and people forget that more than 5000 more B 24 Liberators were built making it the most produced bomber for WW2! More than 4,600 by Ford at Willow Run alone. Beautiful model!

  3. if I had the money I would start a company that would make parts for all sorts of planes trains cars heavy equipment that are hard to find parts for make them for foreign and domestic cars truck trains and heavy equipment so people can keep those classic going

  4. That is an amazing model, a huge amount of hours and money must have gone into building it plus a great deal of skill. Beautifully flown and great camera work, particularly liked the low camera angle during the take off and taxi 👍

  5. My Father was a crew chief on 24’s in the war. Loved his stories. He said you could spot a Ford built B-24 vs. a Consolidated B-24 by the puddles of avgas and hydraulic fluid on the tarmac. So sad they’re almost all gone. Thank goodness for Witchcraft. Wish I could have bought my Dad a ride in her.

  6. AMAZING! My Dad flew B-24s in WWII. My Dad and my youngest son, Matt were part of the ground crew to keep her flying after restoration in 1989. As a thank you they gave my Dad and me a ride from Williamsport, PA to Elmira, NY in 1990. It was cool watching Dad at her controls! Then she was painted as The All American.

This model is the most authentic build and flight I have ever seen!! Thanks so much for sharing!
