11. I'm not a R/C guy but have been watching a lot of R/C plane videos and seen some amazing constructions and flights, but this one sent chills up my spine! Outstanding creation (though I agree, it DOES need at least one pilot figure!), great takeoff and landing and truly WONDERFUL flight! I am slowly being lured towards this hobby (though checking the price of this particular model cooled my jets a bit – LOL! Congratulations, Tomahawk for your magnificent work; I will be watching for more!

14. There is Scale Modeling and then there is this… Awesome Camera work and at one point feels like another Plane engaged the Sabre while in flight! That was RAD!

18. I find it interesting how the comments made here about the F-100 model differ from those made about the one-third scale F-104 model that @RCScaleAirplanes also recently posted a video about.

    The usual crap about the F-104 being nicknamed the "Widow Maker" and "Flying Coffin" came up relatively quickly in the comments even though in reality, the F-100 was the real "Widow Maker" and "Flying Coffin" of the Century Series fighters.
    The F-100 had 471 accidents resulting in 287 destroyed aircraft and 91 dead pilots during its time with the U.S. Air Force compared with 196 accidents resulting in 160 destroyed aircraft and 58 dead pilots for the F-104.

    More interestingly, while aircraft with T-tails are notorious for their ability to enter into an unrecoverable deep stall, no comments have been made about the fact that ALL aircraft with swept wings are also prone to entering into an unrecoverable deep stall unless their designers do things to prevent it like adding wing fences.
    Only a few commenters have mentioned the "Saber Dance" which is the unrecoverable deep stall that killed many of its pilots and virtually no one has followed up on these comments.
    I mention the latter because this problem was only fixed in later F-100s, the F-100D IIRC, and yet the wing fences are MISSING on this model which I think should have them to at least look like an F-100F.

34. I loaded bombs on the F-100's in Vietnam. The plane looks quite naked without the wing tanks and weapons pylons. Other than that it looks really cool!
