   Not a Merlin, but a worthy engine in a Spitfire model !.

3. Great sounding engine.
   Triples are excellent for making V12-like sounds, much like inline sixes.
   I hope someday we see a practical V12 for RC aircraft, but for now we are very blessed to have engine makers like Kolm.

19. 100/150/155IL KOLM ENGINES ARE THE BEST FOR SPITFIRE AND P51 MUSTANG!! GREAT PLANE AND PILOT! I FLY WARBIRDS(START AGAIN 5 YEARS AGO(30yo) 30-35cc AND 60cc.M.ZERO 60EME/SAITO 60R3 88'' W.SPAM WITH ROBART AND REDWING POWERBOX!!! GREAT VIDEO CAPTAIN KEEP GOING!!!

20. The front cylinder is getting all the cooling while the middle & rear cylinders are being blocked by the front cylinder.
    Those two rear cylinders really need some ducts to channel cooling air through them at 90° (like in a Cessna 150, 172 ect).
    I know this isn't the final setup but I'd think the way it is now would only complicate tunning as each cylinder would be running at a different temperature.

27. It has the Operation Overlord paint scheme. All allied aircraft had the black and white stripes.

30. This is undoubtedly the most realistic RC Spitfire flight I have ever seen, a brilliant Pilot and the Kolm engine sounds fantastic and so realistic. May I ask why it is necessary to leave the bottom engine cowling  off the engine ? Perhaps a Cooling problem ? It would look marvellous in flight with the bottom cowl covering on.

34. There really is only one word to for this WWII Model Spitfire "AWESOME"

35. I have one questions about your camera. About 1:12 image goes to lower resolution. It is probably autofocus fail when he try refocus to closer objects. Maybe it is overheating problem in summer days and longer videos. When sunny is shining it is difficult check sharpeness and quality on shiny lcd. So I have many wasted clips.

    I cant tell what exactly happens. But this behavior is usually in hot days with longer videos. I use Panasonic DMC-LX7 1080p/60fps.

    Do you have some own experience about that ? Thanks for reply and sorry about my terrible english.

46. hat denn das Geld nach dem Craf Modell und dem Kolm Motor mit E Starter nicht mehr für eine Motorhaube und einen 4 Blatt Propeller gereicht 😛

    ich würde das Modell wirklich gerne mal komplett bestaunen… leider fehlt in jedem Video die Motorhaube und ein Scale Propeller…
