Self build Gyro-Copter by Ernst Kepplinger it is a fantastic Technology a Rotor Turn for Lift off and a Push Propeller bring the Model Forward, enjoy it.
An autogyro is characterized by a free-spinning rotor that turns because of the passage of air through the rotor from below. The downward component of the total aerodynamic reaction of the rotor gives lift to the vehicle. To Start have this Model Gyrocopter an Engine on the Rotor only for the Start.

James Bond little nelly, the basic Bensen Gyrocopter design is a simple frame of square aluminium or galvanized steel tubing, reinforced with triangles of lighter tubing. It is arranged so that the stress falls on the tubes, or special fittings, not the bolts. A front-to-back keel mounts a steerable nosewheel, seat, engine, and a vertical stabilizer. Outlying mainwheels are mounted on an axle. Some versions may mount seaplane-style floats for water operations.

Where is technical data? Size, engine power? Prerotator motor power? Battery? By size looks like a 1:2 scale… Very cool gyro!
I fly the full-sized version of this aircraft and I am very impressed by the builder’s attention to detail and noticed some of the minor differences between the model and the full-sized machine, such as the landing bow (which has a different curve), the shape of the keel, and the addition of a keel-wheel (which the full-sized one doesn’t have – scraped my keel on landing a couple of times during flight training).
A superb model, indeed – I’d like to know where he got his rotor-blades because I would imagine that they would be the most difficult part to source/fabricate.
I collect clocks, but this really, really makes me want one of these!

Those switches on the dash. They wired up to anything or peform any function? Or they just for show? This contraption has a real look and i love it.
