7. The best part by far was the guy walking into the frame with a shuttle under his arm.

8. Very impressive. My only thought would be to add a short burn rocket motor to the Buran. With a rail between the support struts the Buran would be slid into position from the front of the Antonov. Air pressure will hold it to the back of the rail. At separation the short burn rocket would move the Buran forward, off the rail and clear of the Antonov. (And look very cool)

   Even with the problem it was impressive and fantastic to watch. Kudos to all concerned.

11. That was really cool. The shuttle was realistic as it came in like a brick with wings. Lol That landing of the jet could not have gotten any smoother. Very nice.
    Great flying by both pilots.

18. I got to spend some time with the Antonov on the ground in Frankfurt in the 90's. It was so big, they couldn't move it from the taxiway to the ramp, and we had C-5's & 747's all day long! Pretty amazing plane.

21. It would have be successful if the 225 had lifted it’s nose before release then after release dropped the nose, cut thrust. The Burran would have received a lift at release and the 225 would have moved down and away.

22. I just watched YT video How NASA Learned to Fly the Space Shuttle Like a Glider. The mounted angle of attack is much higher on the Enterprise test vehicle because it had to separate in flight. The angle of attack is lower on the later setups that were only for transporting the shuttle.

34. Absolutely amazing! It's crazy to realize that a model-airplane guy made a radio-controlled Buran Space Shuttle that flew longer than the real thing!
