Didn’t start flying fixed wing until I brought my Dads broken Hobbyzone Champ out when I was 15. (I had been flying drones since I was 14, but that champ had been around since I was 8.) It had been damaged, so it didn’t fly well at all. I really started getting into flying on my 16th birthday, when I got all the electronics required to make a DIY plane. I can’t imagine flying like this at 10 or younger like these kids. Truly remarkable. Been flying now for almost 3 years, and I still can’t do all the tricks and stunts that they’re performing here! Great job, guys!

Good for them but I must say not a lot of youngsters have this kind of opportunity and resources backing them. At least it is much easier to get started in the hobby than it was decades ago.

My parents never saw rc planes and never paid me one so I only could flew when I had the money for. These kids are very lucky (and I'm sure they realize that)

I bet these boys spent a lot of time on the sims. 'When I was a kid' there were no sims and all the planes were made out of balsa wood, and if you crashed it after hours of work you'd usually give up because you didn't want to do all that work just to crash it again.

Well done those boys! Particularly enjoyed the recovery from the hover that went a bit off! Ah reminds me of my grandfather teaching me at 11 🙂 If more people liked modelling the world would be a happier place.
