9. I've been in love with the SR-71 since I was a little girl. My dad took me to see one fly one time back in the 90's. I even got to touch it. It is one of my most cherished memories that I hope I never forget. I made my dad one out of wood in third grade. My husband got me a model one that is currently sitting on top of my computer. It's the most beautiful plane ever. This video made me smile the whole time. I'm glad I found it.

13. Just trying to work out if (size to size) the model is actually as fast as the real SR71. Because it looks like its absolutely “jetting”.

    This SR71 model looks about 3m long next to the guys operating it who are roughly about 1.8m.
    So the model is about 1/11th the size of an actual Blackbird at 33m long which flew at mach 3.3
    So for the model to be faster it needs to be going faster than 0.3 mach or 370kmp.
    It cant be that far off when I look at the video.
