  1. That brought a tear to my eye.I followed Concorde from the age of about four, (I'm fifty two now) and was heartbroken when she was finally grounded. this is the closest thing to her wings being unclipped in my eyes.

  2. somehow, these totally meaningless human pursuits are perfectly justified in my opinion.
    Blown away here. What a fine machine.
    I first saw some pre- commercial Concorde fly at Woodford air show when I was 10 or 11 (73-74)
    Was always fascinated. We have one here at Manchester Airport viewing area.
