this is my very first flight ever on the brand new pilot rc extra ng specifically the 103 inch version that we built in under a day here in dubai now i was so excited to finally get to fly this model that i actually forgot to film an intro for it whilst in dubai which is why we’re doing it now here at home nevertheless here’s how that flight went and wait till the end and i’ll let you know my feedback on how she flies [Music] [Music] um [Music] [Applause] [Music] um [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] um [Music] [Music] um um [Music] wow um [Music] [Applause] [Music] um uh [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] um [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] um [Music] so um now i’m sure that you can make up your own decisions based on this and other videos that you’ve seen but what’s my personal feeling on the pilot rc extra ng now it flies great just like the slick and just like the laser do they all fly immensely well they’re all using a lot of the same technologies as far as keeping them light strong carbon infused structures etc etc however when it comes to flying there is a difference between the three of them the laser is probably by far the most agile of the three the slick is also the most precise out of the three the extra fits really nicely in the middle there it’s very aggressive it’s very precise even though those two models do beat it in each of those individual categories so depending on what you’re looking for you may want to choose the extra or one of those other two however if you want a well-rounded aircraft that is really good at everything i would probably say that the extra ng is the one for you hopefully i can get my hands on one here in spain as well that i can continue having fun with and we’ll make some more videos when that happens until then i hope you all enjoyed this video if you did leave us a like any questions comments or queries leave them in the comment section down below subscribe to the channel if you aren’t already and i’ll see you all in the next video

Hey Martin. I have the 78" version with some specktrum servos. Is it normal to get a bit of servo flutter on the elevator with no gyro and the plane is stationary. Its like they bounce a bit to find centre

I love your videos , I haven’t seen all of them yet , do you happen to a video about the transmitters and receptors you use? I used to fly years ago and I had a really bad experiences losing the connection while flying with small planes , now I want to go back but with a big plane like the one in this video but afraid this happened again . Are covered balsa ply model aircraft still a thing in 2022? I thought all the vibration from the engine and flight forces quickly works the glue joints loose, so the composite models took over all the sales!
