Einzigartige R/C Focke-Wulf Entwurf Nr. III gebaut und geflogen von Herbert Mittermayr.
Dieses Flugzeug wurde nie gebaut. Es stand 1943 zur Diskussion, um einen Luftüberlegenheitsjäger zu entwickeln.

Focke-Wulf Entwurf Nr. III:
wingspan: 197 cm
length: 213 cm
weight: 10.50 kg

Ab 1942 beteiligte sich auch die Firma Focke-Wulf an der neuen Antriebstechnologie,sprich Düse. In 5 Entwürfen wurden Die Vor- und Nachteile abgewogen. Beim Entwurf Nr. 3 (das hier gezeigte Modell) war das Triebwerk schon im Rumpf eingestärkt, hatte aber noch gerade Tragflächen.
Erst im Entwurf Nr. 5, dem so genannten “Flitzer” wurden auf gepfeilte Flächen umgeschwenkt. Ein Schritt, der damals nur deutschen Ingenieuren vorenthalten war.

  10. No aircraft however great in design and ability could have made a difference for the Third Reich, which was out of fuel, out of rubber, and so many other resources.
    Germany was highly overstretched in a war with too many front lines, and highly outnumbered by so many other nations.
    It may be out of question, that the German forces fought their fights as good as any possible. But it could not be won.
    The model looks interesting in design and paint job. Great model building and flying, Herbert!

  20. cockpit temains on stolen blu prints. Like the most innovation of the USA and the UDßSR mosteöy stolen while the war. The biggest Blundery ever. The Alliies has Industrie secrets and science hightech in todays worth sbout approx. 20-30,000,000,000,000 in todays $$$.So please be quit and shut your nasty mouth.

  24. Im Nachhinein ist man zwar immer schlauer, aber man kann nur froh sein, dass dieses Exemplar nicht gebaut wurde und zum Einsatz kam. Nicht auszudenken was passiert wäre, hätte der Krieg 3 Monate länger gedauert. Es hätte wahrscheinlich kein Hiroshima und kein Nagasaki gegeben, aber dafür ein Mannheim-Ludwigshafen. Na besten Dank dafür.

    it looks like a very stable flying design
    everything goes nicely gradually
    yes you just have to admit that what was developed by the Germans in WW2
    was way ahead of time
    the allied countries also did not know how quickly they had to send the technology home in secret

  28. As if Spitfire pilots didn't already have enough problems with the Focke Wulf 190, this fighter, had it flown, would have made every subsequent Spitfire mark obsolete.
    Very interesting model.

  32. WOW!  What an amazing plane!  I had never heard of this & thought that maybe this was a modern german aircraft! (Silly me!)Was this only a "Blueprint" (Drawring)? or did it ever get to glider stage of production?It looks so natural & flies so stable I half thought it was  maybe a modern design I had never heard of.Amazing model.  Thanks for uploading! :))
