From my early days when I first saw this airplane in books and after reading everything I could about it I now know why I still love it to this day at 65 years old.
My grandfather flew one of these at the end of the war. He told me one advanced trick they would use to shake a Tempest off was to suddenly turn off the front engine and fly backwards.

In der Beschreibung steht, dass das eine Höhenjägerversion sei. Dass kann so nicht ganz stimmen, da es somit eine do-335 b-4 sein müsste. Allerdings hat dieses Modell 2 MK-108 in den Tragflächen. Damit müsste es eine do-335 b-2 sein, also nur ein Zerstörer und kein Höhenzerstörer/Höhenjäger. Ansonsten aber fantastisches Modell!!
