HUGE F16 – Flying!
Beschreibung zum Video:
A model that has been around for over a decade, but has had only very few flights on it. Previously owned by Victor Calvo, its new owner MalagaJets asked me to setup and test fly this beast!
At just under 4m length and I am told around 50-60kg in weight this is a big one!

today is a big day let me show you why [Music] today is a big day because we’re flying one of the biggest jets out there it’s an f-16 that’s just under four meters length powered by a 320 turbine and told weighs around 50 kilos so first of all we have to program it then we get into the fun bit flying it now it may not be the largest jet afloat but it’s definitely going to be the heavy [Music] one of the interesting things about this plane is that it was actually previously owned by Victor Cullen one of the best pilots flying general ever seen good friend of mine from Valencia and he has some rather unusual mixes on this plane which have been a right headache program to explain inspected to show visit elevator actually activates the ailerons and the flaps as well as do the ailerons on the Delta mix which added to the slats has the the flaps come down needs up elevator and everything still works as elevator Taylor on Taylor on whatever you want to call it hopefully we’ve got it all right let’s go look in the OSI [Music] [Music] alert to self reduce aileron and increase a low on Xbox [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] and there we go a really great first couple of flights really surprised with how this thing flies it’s very very agile on ailerons we’ve had to seriously reduce the rates on those and we’re still going to have to add an IG row into it just to stop that wing wobbling but we can’t seem to cut out but considering all of the programming that this thing has it flew really really well the fact that we’re using all the surfaces basically as flying surfaces so flaps ailerons and elevators are all working as elevators and as flaps plane flies really really well especially considering the size and the weight and we’re looking at 50 or 60 kilos here with a 30 kilos turbine in it and it’s still flying pretty much like any other plane possibly even better because of that inertia that’s just making it fly like is it on Rails especially once we get the aileron problem sorted out so until then we’re gonna do a few updates on it get some more flights on it and see if we can get it doing exactly what we want it to but so far really please I mean as you saw the landings are just absolutely amazing it looks like it’s coming in hot and then suddenly you just start pulling the elevator it gets that tail down into the high alpha position and just lands in no time at all even with its weight very nimble great bump is another check on the list an even bigger jet that we’ve flown now so bigger and better bigger is definitely better in this case car way to do it all again until then like the video leave any questions below subscribe for more content flying some amazing machines like this one and I’ll see you next time thanks for watching [Music] [Music] [Applause]

Contact Ukraine probably you have contract with them
Beautiful, love the F16
Let the Sunshine In…
It's not 4 m long !
You've got too much aileron on that plane. The F16 has never had that. It's got flaperons and elevons. Delete the ailerons and take down the throw on the rest of the surfaces and it should fly the way it should.
Thanks
that nose gear though
Is that a jet cat engine? If so, what kind? Beautiful jet!
Top Notch !…………………………In ALL repects ! ! !
I have smaller Foam Freewing and Eflite F-16s. I set them up just normal. Separate aileron, elevator and rudder. Then do mixing of channels with switches. I want bigger of course ?
Price bata dy please ?
Sweet.
Except for the tail you got something ther with that paint job. Needs serious consideration for the Thunderbirds.
wow
Great Plane!! Great Pilot 😉
what is the brand of this airplane?
Could I please just take her up once?
A dream that few pilots get to experience. You did a great job for sure.
Really great job on that jet and I can't believe how realistically smooth that thing lands.
Just beautiful!
How many flights have you had on it now?
I can't believe people and manufacturers still mess with air gear… Painfully ancient and just unreliable.
Great first flight !! I would be a little nervous myself but you looked like you had flown it a 100 times before ! Also love the green jet you have – that is a beautiful plane . Great job !
why doesnt the nose wheel go up?
Is it in 1:4 scale?
Beautiful F16
what is the biggest plane you flew then?
What transmitter you using?
Awsome second landing so smooth, I see 305 jealous thumbs down though.
Just wow!!
Iz you family to ronnie pickering!???
Awesome pilot…..If you are not the top, you are right beside the top.
beautiful bird dude!
That was epic . What desert is this at?
You are just such a good pilot, always looking what I can learn from you
nice looking bird
but looks heavy like stone
Not too shabby for a front line fighter jet which began the planning in 1969, and first flew in 1975 as the new F16.
I noticed that you don't see spectrum radio equipment in these high dollar aircraft
???
Please can I know were you bought your landing gear
Amazing
Even I was nervous about this one! So, the question is… If you are handed the radio and asked to perform the setup and first flight… what would YOU do?!
