[Applause] we’ve had videos of building the lizard flying it and making it about a kilo lighter so now it’s time to re-maiden it and see what a difference that kilo makes it’s a lovely day but it’s also very hot so we’ll see how she goes [Music] [Music] [Music] we’ve upgraded the airplane and it’s time to upgrade our fuel can as well we’ve gone for the xm aviation fuel station and just like the one before it has on off switch to go forwards and backwards and speed control but this one also has a screen which displays both the speed at which you’re putting the fuel into the model and even better the amount of fuel that you’ve actually put in so with that we can see both how big our fuel tank is and how much fuel we have left after a flight based on how much more we put in so with that we can also calculate if we can increase our flight times at all as opposed to just having to basically look at the fuel tank and guess so a great addition at the moment the screen doesn’t turn off after a while which is something that i would really like to see if these guys make a future version but the consumption from the screen is tiny and even if you leave it plugged in all day it’s not a problem so really happy with this now let’s get fueled up and go test the airplane [Music] [Applause] uh [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] ugh [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] 40 degrees in the shade in august in spain is probably not the best time to test turbines but the airplane itself you can tell it flies a whole lot better with that weight saving i did have to shut the turbine down because there’s no wind here at the moment and the residual thrust on that lighter airplane and no brakes let’s just say that i wanted to make sure to get it down in one piece but we’re going to have to leave it a couple of weeks i think before the temperatures drop a bit and then we’ll be back out here having a load of fun doing all the 3d that we all enjoy so we’ll see you there until then thanks for watching i’ll see you in the next one

Due to a hospital stay, I had a lot of time in the last few weeks. I have been a model flyer for over 40 years, had a model shop for over 25 years and am now taking early retirement due to illness. This is my story. Now I want to fulfill a lifelong dream and build and fly an RC jet. After a lot of research I chose the SAB Lizard, mainly because your videos about the plane are very detailed and its claims are the minimum I have. I will also buy all components like this, the CORE RC system, the MKS servos, Jetcat turbine, etc. I would also like to implement some of your lightweight measures immediately during construction, especially the tank and the covering plates,
maybe you can even send me a private message with a list of all the components you have installed and where I can get everything fastest in Europe (Germany).
