Ford Motors has one called the Tri-motor, they resemble each other.
Transmitter malfunction? The aircraft seem exquisitely responsive in the other videos I've seen. This looked as though the rudder control locked. Then the "Pilot" or the controls cut 2 of the engines? and Gunned the Third engine to clear the line of spectators.
I hope you can get some satisfaction from the salvage/repair. I had a violin I had played for 25 years, got smashed in a stupid accident. I couldn't throw it away… Finally gave it to a Luthier, hoping he could salvage parts or make playable again.
This is why musicians who play a lot often have a number of instruments. Backup. My dear brother had about 15 different guitars in various stages of undress…. disassembly… for painting wildlife or fantasy scenes on'em, or completely changing the wiring & pickups, or modifying the frets… He Did the Same thing to his 1972 Honda 750 — took it apart Five times. Reassembled it. Four Times.
oh man, he was in…what happened, he lost 2 motors…what the heck. wow
Bummer
Awesome model, so sad to see it's demise. ☹ 🇦🇺
Looks like pilot error followed by duel engine failure from high G pull up.
What a beautiful looking and sounding aircraft. Hopefully it’ll be up there again.
Upon landing – fly too slow (with flaps down) – elevator input is excessive – nose pitch up then stall/snap. Not sure if the middle engine stop. Thanks.
Maybe go gets ya a new hobby,say like,bird watching,😂😂😂
That’s a lot of work down the toilet
Really sad but it was a human error.
This plane has to be called Junkers and not Junker.
I can fix that…. I hate to say I have a lot of experience. But I do have a few tales , I turned into desk lamps. 😮
That was a beautiful model..don’t let it end there..build another..
going to wait for Blancorilo for this one
Tragic.
Typical pilot error, overcompensating the elevator. On final during landing you only use the elevator to flare out just before touchdown. In this case he came in to high, set the power to idle, plane descents rapidly and then yanking the elevator up to high where after the plane stalls. He should have gone around for a new landing.
A flying piece of art gone in seconds… a crying shame.
Looks like he was attempting a go around and engines cut out 🤷♂️
Classic Vmc rollover caused by a single engine failure at too low of a speed. The correct action would have been to immediately chop all engines the moment the first failed.
Scheibe
That was not a JU-52, it was a JU-52 3M.
I saw two props appear to stop – so did it run out of fuel?
Very old repeat, 5 Jears old
Sehr schade der Absturz 😢😢😢
Mein Mitgefühl für den Verlust !!!
¡Que pena! 'Es precioso!
Wie schade
Stabilised approach!
U guys need to be spending your spare time getting some exercise, or give your transmitter to a 12 year old who has some hand/eye coordination.
A competent RC pilot could’ve saved the day here (if the radio link was solid of course ). I write as a former Masters class F3A pilot.
If the right engine didn´t quit it would go around.
The owner is lucky he didn't kill somebody ..I love RC planes.. but you don't gain a true perspective of the size until it crashes into a VW Golf LOL.. they are TOO BIG and TOO BIG is TOO dangerous, their going to ruin the hobby for everyone.. Imagine a turbine jet if it lost control at speed .. My GOSH . Sorry but these RC monstrosities need to end ..
How old is this video? I first watched it at least three years ago.
