  1. Ah I see, makes sense when you need a lot of channels. However I doubt an I phone would handle my foamy planes 😉 I can only just get away with having 6 channels and cleaver mixing.

  2. The TX of Graupner MC24 / Futaba F28 (35 / 40 Mhz) and similar types were very common here in europe. They are easy to transform into the 2.4Ghz system. I also use such a "desk radio" because for me it's more confortable and relaxing on switching different options during flight. Foamy planes usually don't have more than 4 channels and therefore you can fly them even with an i-phone (ツ)

  3. It doesn't matter, I just notice that all these guys with large planes seem to have equally large Tx's. Makes my weird mind laugh a little 🙂

  4. Thank you Simon for your great comment.
The kits of the P-47 1/5 scale are: the brown one made by "Werner Kranz" / the one shown on this video and the two #58 are made by "Modster".
If you need more information, pls let me know. I'll try to get what you need (ړײ)

  6. This airfield is not for sissies. It's 160 m (175 yards) long and enough large even for the giant B-17.
It could be that it looks a bit difficult to you, but you have to remember that these are maiden flights and the pilots did not know exactly the behavior of their airplane.

  7. Thanks Mike. You're always welcome !!!
Whether you believe it or not, my mouth was always dry. From the take-off to landing. You can not imagine how thirsty I was in the evening (ړײ)

  8. Thank you Bob. They should change their name "Falcon Wings" into "Thunder Wings" (ツ)
Only a few small scratches on the planes with about 50 flights on that day.
I've still 4 maiden flights to upload … two of them are a bigger scale.

    Zusammenflicken 🙂

    Klasse Flug!

  10. Another great Vid,love the big sigh by the pilot, shaking those nerves out good catch on that makes it feel like were there.

    Thanks again Horst.
