hello let’s even get everything sorted okay hello everyone welcome to the build of my new RC factory crack yak mini now I’m gonna give you all a couple of minutes just to start tuning in in that meantime I’m gonna drop a link to this video on my Facebook and Instagram so just bear with me just for a minute whilst we do that just want to get everyone tuned in and we’ll get building in no time at all okay so that’s shared on Facebook let’s get our friends from Instagram out as well anyone who doesn’t already follow me on either Facebook or Instagram you can find me either as Martin Pickering or Pickering RC feel free to join us for loads more content photos videos all kinds of fun stuff let’s just get this uploaded onto Instagram and we’ll start to get building there we go okay we’ve got a few people on the chat already hello standard grill error master sir tonic from Tommy eka you here close to me hello hello Stuart Carlos crunchy yes we are live hello my lovely Raquel say hello to Michael as well hello everyone so let’s get this build going so it’s going to be for the RC factory crack yak mini I’m going to be using all of their standard combo their standard set up that they sell which we have and we’re going to be installing throughout this video actually just give me one more second I’m actually going to tag them in and that way we can have all the RC factory guys watching this as well RC factory whilst on doing this why not take a sec and go check out the RC factory website they have some really cool planes I mean they’ve got this one the crack yak which you’ve probably seen a few photos or video of my own before we’ve got the new edge 1 meter which I’m preparing the video fallen will be with you all real soon and load with a really cool planes they do try planes and just release a GB all really cool stuff [Music] yeah one two three how are you good to go okay so well I’ve got a few more people here hello joined in okay so other said we’re going to be using all the standard equipment that RC factory recommends see how it all works so the box we have the plane here now the first step with any RC factory model is that all the hinges need to be left for at least one hour or ideally overnight in a folded over manner that just allows them to be a little bit softer and less resistant for service after all we are going to be using some very very small servos in this one so we don’t want the actual hinge to cause any extra resistance more than it has to I mean they’re not strong servos to start with and if they lose a load of talk just by moving the surface by the time you have air flow going over that it’s just gonna be worthless so I actually started this yesterday I’ve folded everything up had white weights on them overnight so they’re nice and good to go and we can now continue the build it’s important to do that before you start otherwise once they’re on you can’t really follow them back because they start touching other things and it’s a bit of a pain so okay let’s get started we’ve got all our main parts noticed activity on the chat hello from Poland Czech Republic Florida all over the place hope everyone’s doing well staying safe and doing ok in the rather unusual situation that we’re all in ok so I’m gonna start just by popping out all of the spare parts that we don’t need all the little cutouts into which everything’s going to swap later on cut those out just use our hobby blades hello from India as well TJ’s RC cherish most hated part of a build when you’re just getting stuff ready now I’ve actually spent the last probably half hour or so trying to make sure that I’ve got all my tools at hand so we can get this bill done as smoothly easily and quickly as possible but you have to bear with me if I didn’t forget anything just while I go grab stuff okay so the first thing that we want to do is Ashley I have the manual open which is always a good recommendation now I’m not one for following manuals myself too much I’ll put my hand up to that one however when it comes to phonies and things like this because they do come with a specific quantity of carbon carbon rods and accessories sometimes these don’t go quite in the same usual places that you expect so it’s always good to have a look through the manual understand what goes where so that you know I’m not missing any carbon rods or any parts when you get later down the line hello from Switzerland Columbia all over the place what’s the best way to repair the hinge if they ever break that’s a very good question and it’s something that happens to pretty much all of us the best solution if you can is to actually use contact adhesive it’s flexible it’s very strong but many times people use it as glue as opposed to contact adhesive contact adhesive you glue it on one side glue the other side leave it for five or ten minutes but glue to dry pretty much and then get them in contact with each other that’s the best way to contact these it to work it remains flexible and it remains strong alternatively you can also use sino these are C factory planes made in such a way that they’re from foam that you can use sino without any kind of issue with its normal activate it doesn’t need to be foam safe however if it’s kind of the front plant or the back part of the hinge you can use Sai know if it’s right on the pivoting point I’ll always recommend using that contact adhesive because otherwise it can get rather rigid crunchy and again we’ve been moving power from the server which is something that we want to avoid at all cost what’s your best beginner plane they asked to have one of these that’s for beginners it’s a kind of mid wing high winning which flies really well just keep it on the nice low rates hello little Davey four years old great RC pilots send me a video we’re actually going to be making another challenge soon the reason being I still keep receiving video submissions to my previous quarantine challenge now if you haven’t seen that go back and check it out it’s a couple of videos back and I challenged everyone to make a video showing your flying skills from the safety of your home it has to be from your home from your garden somewhere that you’re safe send me a video and in a couple of weeks we’ll be uploading another video showing all of your flights with my own comments behind it okay too much but it’s good to have you all here now we’re going to actually start by gluing the main parts together as indicated by the manual now the way to avoid having everything stick to the table is actually just with cling film so little bit of cleaning film onto my cutting mat so that the glue doesn’t stick to my mat and neither does my plane now this can be done in a more elegant way you sticking it down wrapping it round but we’re gonna make it as we go along we also want to make a video after all so first step we’re going to start simply by gluing wing to the plane so we want to make sure we got the right way not upside down got some Spanish friends asking silly questions Bob let us know chapatti Amelia stop staring me do the graphics is eenopp drag a stable rhythm intervening there’s the Aqua or FA Bochum e Marley okay so I’m gonna be trying to answer people both in English and in Spanish here there’s quite a lot of you so let’s get on with it so make sure everything fits nicely we’re going to start adding sign up to one side and kick it to the other and hopefully we can get us get it off the stick first time and get it nice and tight nice bead of sign don’t be tight on the sign especially on the Rings like this is where if you crash it oftens tries to start separating so nice amount of cyanide stay away from the fumes from the sign oh and the kicker give it a few seconds and once it stops making any kind of noises hopefully we’ll have a nicely stuck wing to fuselage and hopefully it’s not gonna stick too badly just like that first bit done yeah we’re almost finished or not more every darn to stop sticking everything everything else okay we’re now going to do the same with the opposite wing and then we’ll have a grid look what you guys are saying in the chat again stay away from the fumes the fumes from cyano are both horrible I had really not healthy so it’s good to definitely stay away from them ideally you also want to use epoxy or any other kind of glitter went when you’re not in a rush unfortunately though these kind of planes do need sign out to kind of stay together so give that a whack make sure there’s no excess I know anyway and that is our wings ready to go now then I’m gonna try and follow the manual more than I usually would here so the next step is doing some : what’s together okay so how is everyone doing which brand is the purple plane behind me ask Carlos this one’s actually also an RC Factory it’s a same company as both of these and this one that we’re building it’s a RC factory it’s one meter or just over one meter I think flies really well just waiting to be able to have some better weather and get some video for you guys we’re gonna be using this both for the video of the actual plane itself and I’m also going to making video real soon on the power box I Jaros at so three axis gyro and I’m going to be installing it into this plane so I can show you all real easy how it works without it being in a large cumbersome model to start showing how the gyro reacts what else we got Steve Walker just back from flying ready for the built flying that’s not fair flying for couple of months now we’re locked in the house okay Spanish one here Amy okay okay los Amigos air battery it’s a combo can amigos okay okay you gonna combo some tech magazine you so much access acquiring the Empire server is worth it for indoors that depends on your own [Music] appreciation of speed and servers and quality personally I mean they don’t do really small servo so this is kind of the first the smallest plane you can go with without being really heavy however I do think that MKS and good brand servos are worth it in an indoor park flyer simply because they are quicker there are a lot quicker they also actually have to talk they’re supposed to have and they don’t fail so in that sense yes they’re more expensive but yes I do think it’s worth it if you’re at a level where you can appreciate the difference in speed that the servos can provide let’s see Matthew going metal gear plastic gear service these ones are all plastic these are tiny these are something like four four grams servos so the only thing metal in here is the actual motor is the S match 3/4 to a good flying plane amazingly 50cc playing this Saturday yes 50cc plane is always good and yes batteries are really fun dose aisle but a highly aerobatic model it’s not so bad as the the extras or the slicks or the lasers but it’s also really good it’s one of those things that I always feel like I have been reunited with an old friend every time I fly it we’ve got dong from essential RC time thanks for tuning in anyone who hasn’t already subscribed to his channel if you look RC airplanes you need to go get out it’s essential RC but don’t check it out now check it out once we finish this build anyway let’s get back to building we’re talking way too much again so on this one it seems to depend on which plane you get you may get a single carbon rod which is six millimeters or five millimeters wide on this occasion we get two which are three millimeters wide if we have to glue together which kind of sucks but using our little trick for not sticking to the table it shouldn’t be too bad he said hopefully so sticking them down trying to get them both together oh yeah anyone who does do this make sure to either ask the wife girlfriend or mother first before stinging the cling film and definitely definitely make sure to throw it away once you finish don’t roll it back up and have it on your next chicken okay that seems to be working seems to this is not gonna stick too much to the cling film but we’ll soon find out let’s see I’ll see you factory next time can you please just send a wider common much easier they always always use the bottom of the sign out of to actually squeegee out excess sign out that always works well and it prevents you getting your fingers all over it as well keep it in place whilst we kick it for some reason I mean I think it’s probably the same reason why I sign it doesn’t stick to the inside of it but it doesn’t stick to the bottom it’s too badly when you’re using it like that so that’s also a nice trick okay one of the truth does the carbon stick to it quite nicely see how good a trick is that with daily clean for me again I’m gonna go through so much thicker here but I just don’t want to get anything stuck to anything I don’t want it to but they’re with me a second I’m just gonna get a cloth just to dry it all down about the chat essentially I see you stop talking get building very true Theo welcome to the chat using Shawn using thin medium or thick’s I know I’m gonna be using Vince I know for absolutely everything if I want medium or thick’s I know I’ll be kicking it first okay just dry this off after all we’re gonna be sticking this in the wing with more sign out so I don’t want it to be kicking the sign out before I want it to there we go okay so next step now we have our double carbon rod we’re going to stick it into the wing and actually make the wing less floppy so is the length right bring me to cut it down okay it’s good now the plane does actually already have a scorer in it however because this is now the same thickness as the wing and as per the manual we now actually have to cut this all the way through so little bit overkill for this side McClane but pay her and we’re just gonna cut all the way through carefully making sure not to tear if you want to cut we don’t pull if we pull it’s going to make a mess of the other side of the wing which is actually the top side which is the one we don’t make a mess off they always have two blades one that has a new blade on it and one that I use for anything else so scratching or going through hard materials so we now have a slit in the wing now again we’re gonna bring our film okay now that because I want the top surface to be the neatest other two I’m gonna start with the model upside down because the recovered one is going to push through all the way until the table that goes onto that this is hopefully going to fit in nicely but it’s not like we’re trying to do it quickly whilst filming okay now here we need to start gluing slowly we don’t want to try and glue too quickly do you want to keep everything nice and flat whilst we’re doing it nice and straight so just little by little we’re gonna start just by tacking just first on one end and then just do a few taps as we go along once we’re finished I’ll then run down a full bead of sign-out down both edges and both sides what I’m doing this quick check of the chat how we all doing audio is very low audio is fine audio is perfect Edoardo turn your volume up after Cove it is under wraps we’re gonna meet again in D or maybe I’ll come to Spain awesome hopefully we can do both of those hopefully I can get back out to India and you can get out to Spain would be cool just hopefully all the the whole situation with CodeRed gets resolved sooner rather than later without any more issues hope everyone’s doing well hope everyone you know is all doing well as well what are the benefits of having the power box instead of standard regulator and receiver setup that’s a seemed like a very simple question but it has a many answers because there are many benefits first of all you have double batteries so if you have an issue with one battery you don’t lose the plane you have double regulators so if you have a single regulator malfunction you continue to fly without noticing the difference until you land and see the screen you have two receivers so if one receiver goes into the lockout you continue to have a full control over the model you have complete redundancy in the circuit that if you look at the power box when it’s open you can actually see that the left side and the right side are both identical that’s because there are actually two power boxes inside each panel box basically meaning that one can actually have an entire catastrophic failure and the other half will continue doing all the work and you won’t even tell whilst lying that there’s an issue with the power box not that catastrophic failures however really of course you can also have all the extra features which you simply don’t get out of most receivers or RC systems I mean you have server matching you have deal or sequences you have the option to control the center and end points of each server individually depending on which power box you have if you go with a royal you can have some servers output it at five point nine with others outputting 55.90 seven point four if you go for something like a mercury you can have the integrated a gyro on three axes or to five different outputs so inside something like my J tank is normally here I just removed for today’s video you don’t need any kind of extra driver or anything involved in that it’s all inside the power box so yeah there’s quite a lot of advantages to using a power box versus just using a receiver and a basic regulator what else we got have you built any autonomous aircraft we built one that was a fun one actually we had a guy who wanted to build a fleet of four meter decathlon’s he wanted to measure the emissions from factories so it had to carry quite a lot of electronics inside to the tune of about 20 kilos and he had to fly for a couple of hours as it had to fly autonomously doing a circuit around the factory at different heights and different distances so that was an interesting one because we actually filled it normally it would run with a hundred cc engine instead because of all the extra weights we installed 170 cc engine and 20 meter fuel tank so that was an interesting one it actually flew almost better with all the extra weight than it did understand that plane because being so large and so light as the pilot kits are it was just almost too floaty as soon as we put all the extra weight in though it changed big time okay so that’s how wings sorted what’s our next step okay the next step is to reinforce the elevators so you’re going to move that on one side of it we do have a slip already for carbon find the carbon piece that’s going to go in there these now if there’s one thing I enjoy the building airplanes that’s building large airplanes because they don’t have tiny tiny tiny pieces hopefully we won’t lose okay that’s the one that fits in there so again the slit isn’t quite deep enough so we’re just just going to use the same existing slit as a control back to our cling film and a little bit of see a place again use the bottom of that to make sure everything is flat and in place the straighter playing we can build that better it’s going to fly once we get there okay one elevator done next step what else we got joining the elevator to the fuselage okay we can do that again how we doing let’s see which transmitter would you recommend as a 16 year old with 12 channels go for it Sally it won’t fail you what do you think about the new gb4 Marci factory from Rome at that thing looks absolutely brilliant I haven’t yet ordered one but I think that in a kawase Emilio’s next order we’re gonna have to include one of those because it looks so much funny if it flies like a 3d plane but looks like a GP so everyone loves a GP good day from South Africa from Franco hello I only take you to build the red and black jet and the jet behind you this one this one I actually painted it myself so it took a little bit longer than normal it took me about a month to paint it and then probably about another month to build it can be done a lot quicker just like most things when you’re not talking about for it through the video let’s get on with building before we get too distracted now this only fits on one way because it does have a little notch in it we just got to take out that piece fusible sit later on okay and just as before we’re gonna pre kick a fuselage that way as soon as the designer comes into contact with it we know it’s gonna be stuck down permanently just got to make sure that you get it right because you do then only get one chance [Music] sleek cleans artery just work up 8:27 a.m. here Wow early oh when we’ve been doing this half an hour we’ve already glued four parts together I need to get more building done and less talking though Ronaldo I would definitely save the CC plane you definitely want to go with a panel box competition or if you want any the gyro features go with the power bottom mercury anyone who wants to buy it and even power box check out my website pickering RC calm there you go blatant plug I’ll see you for mule of the leo thank you it’s a great plane fly as well have you flown the orange playing behind me what’s it called yes that one is the altimeter you guys are going nuts good to see you all enjoying it which RC factory playing would I recommend for a beginner now I don’t know the name of it however they have one that’s called something like that it’s something like beginner or or trainer or early early playing or something like that it’s a high wing playing quite docile that flies really well go check it out on their website RC factory hi Martin I’m in South Africa please give me a shout-out okay hello RC informer it would be better if you gave me your name that could be a better shout out for you so um my friend from India my core is coming in a few weeks or months I’ll call you for some help great great to see that you’ve got on the way bro okay so now we have all of our flat pants sorted time to get some servos installed now as we said early on we’re gonna be using all of the stock recommended combo that RC factory sells now in this case we’re going to be installing their servos which for this particular plane are the high tech HS forties which are very small very light and I really hope that they’ll put up to me bashing around with them we’ll soon find out where we anyway so first server to install is the big job with it not quite sure which so we’re going to place the plane upside down again always using our cling film we don’t get anything stuck to the table especially if it’s your dining table being very very careful both not to lose the small parts but also never ever move the servo horn on a mini server the gear is also small but it has a high chance of you breaking a gear if you do so never ever do that so we didn’t actually get this in the straight off without the server or go into the manual which is a little bit unusual but ok these guys have been building foamies for a long time so I’m supply the instructions so just gonna be installing the server as is just like that ok now personally I don’t like using sign how to install servos in foamies I much prefer using hot glue now I do try to keep foam easy light because they normally fly better however servos are something that I often have issues with I have too much fun and then they tend to break so I like them to be installed with hot glue which is a little bit easier to remove not to mention that cyano depending on what kind of server it is ie how good or how cheap I have actually seen sign of run through into a server before completely clogging up all the gears what you really really don’t want when you finish your plane you’re ready to go and then you turn it on and then I think everyone survives because it’s all bound up the next step ok so next thing about the vertical fuselage so we’ll do that whilst that glue gun is heating up we’ve got the top half we’ve got the bottom half and we’ve got the canopy so it seems the first step is to actually glue the canopy on so we can do that that’s easy yeah again we can use the same systems everything else we’re gonna pre-kick one and sino the other won’t you do that I’ll have a quick look at the chat Nandu what transmitter can I use go for a power box cool can also use for tile but that really good as well you think they don’t want bad nose and then Joyner may intervene too you know it’s better you see I’m here with privacy and everything along the coast with the Catania Matthew going you think the plane I’m talking about is the beaver for the starter quite possibly make sure we get this one the workaround but don’t get distracted by talking to you all you guys and then glue stuff on the back to front that would not be good as we said when you want to pre kick something and you then use the sign-out you get just one chance so we’ll stay away from the fumes Emilio I saw ya me again rookie doggy-paddle adamant that Nandu doesn’t fun melt with hot glue no this type of foam doesn’t melt with sign out and unless you get the glue gun stupidly hot it doesn’t melt it with that either so you can use pretty much any kind of glue on here that you want without any kind of issues and even scratch building an RC in free flight aircraft for longer than you want to remember but you never get around to flying them is it possible to teach yourself and what kid would you use free flight aircraft I have no idea about everything I use is RC however if you want to get into RC as we said a moment ago one of the best ones to probably just have some fun way doesn’t cost much at all is the RC factory high-wing trainer kind of plain it still does loads of maneuvers with me think it’s called the beaver all the pieces cut out everything should fit together nicely over here yeah now time to glue stuff to the bottom of the flame okay so I got the bottom of the plane we’ve got our server installed but not glued in yet I mean the bottom side and everything should just line up normally our tea factory kits are really good for that they just line up slot in and they’re not really straight really strong and just easy to get going as we want yeah everything fits time for some sayonara war sayonara now it’s worth pointing out that this is probably one of the few times that I’m not pre kicking with a sign out because as it’s such a large part trying to get anything lined up the first time with a kicker already applied it doesn’t work so just take it bit by bit stage by stage just that round so I can see that I’m building it straight these things do build really straight on their own as it is so it’s a case of what are you guys saying in a chat how we doing what do you think about Rama’s I see new 8350 I think rummy is doing some really cool stuff on his channel he’s one of the few guys that is really showing the world about our sea air – it’s really cool quite happy does it he designs the airliners on a computer prints out 3d model 3d parts basically as if that was the final kit and then uses those to make molds so yeah I’m big respect for everything that Romney is doing also a really cool guy so anyone again anyone who hasn’t seen that but if you like air buses and Boeing’s go to ram ER see he has some really cool content showing mainly the building of his own versions of those scales as well quite large hell of a pilot our seaplane doesn’t give an option on their website to buy the planes but that’s correct Rick nada the pilots are see.com website was not allow you to purchase planes it’s an informative website you need to go to the dealer’s section and locate the dealer in your particular country they will be the ones that can give you prices delivery state’s color schemes etc well this is starting to look like a blank we’ve even got one solo install that glue gun might be just about warm enough now as well so just see if that is the case okay what else you’re going on the China wall stops warming up thank you yes cool d mega bike RCS arrow welcome to the channel but thanks for joining us – I’m pleased you’re enjoying the summers going on granola bar not be rorimer you okay there I want that way I get there no I’m not gonna mediocre they don’t want them repeller does power box make receivers and it’s the power box called compatible with Futaba power box do make receivers but they are only for their power box call Radio the power box called radio is not compatible with potala just like most radio brands you have to use their own receivers however many of the telemetry sensors are compatible both for one and for you you don’t ya is the j-10 a stable jet yes however it’s very important that you keep it light if you don’t keep it light you’re basically done for before you start okay next stage is control horns so small bags and big fingers never go together okay so we have all our accessories you’re going to cut these down that’s a few questions whilst we’re doing this so nothing thoughts on the flex innovations 120cc ma’am laughs now actually flew one of those out when I was in India I was surprised at how precisely it flew it flies very much like a kind of pattern plane however there was one thing I wasn’t keying on about it I think when it wasn’t that I think it was the elevator it rolled really well it knife edges really well but the elevator control was a little bit lacking possibly for my style but that could also be because of by plane and by things do not require quite a few flights to get used to the unique characteristics of the actual fact it’s a biplane let’s see what about the Dubai flying site that is a fun place I’ve been fortunate enough to fly at the Dubai flying field I believe now three times and I’ve always had an absolute blast there we have very good friends we have especially Mustapha and Bashar from the model shop gonzo hobbies who are located at the actual flying field last year December we were with him and the guys from sa B we have an absolute blast it’s always fun to fly there and they have some nice planes and they have some really crazy moments of flying which I please do more night videos of builds in the future okay step I’ll try and do that hello from Florida hello model airplane no leave us a name dude strata say hello to model airplane that it’s hey whatever whatever floats your boat okay see what I got did you hear about the cooperation between multi like somehow what do you think yes multiplexer basically quit the radio division they wanted to simply dedicate themselves to other things so from now on the kits that are produced by multiplex are basically that they are going to be produced by power box it just means that everything is now really compatible as well and can actually use multiplex receivers basically a power box caught so more compatibility we have well it can only be good because it means I mean one of the things that always puts people off from going to a new radio system is the fact that we have loads of receivers already for the old one now if you can swap over to a power box score but don’t have to change all of your receivers well that’s a win-win there see can you make a video showing all your RC stuff I think that would be quite a long video it would be fun well I see you I okay which are going to be enough to keep it in place will be fine and it’s also equally easy to move it in the future we won’t and yeah that was a bit too long so it’s going to take a second to dry so I’m just holding that in place how do I get the English version of my website if that’s my Martin Pickering comm website inside the menu you have an English flag if it’s between our see.com website unfortunately that’s currently only in Spanish as is my workshop intended mainly for Spain nandhu what is in my Leonardo jet I’m bringing a jet p220 rxi 140 so yeah jp2 20 rxi which provides crazy power it seems a lot more powerful than most other 220 brands out there I’m winning MKS servers throughout a mixture of I believe their HP 99 and one zeros on the flying surfaces six kilos and very quick and HB triple 7 pluses on the flaps and just a little bit extra power at about 40 kilos also of course mercury power box optic power batteries and electron retract landing gear basically all the best equipment out there ok Jack sees we’re going a little bit crazy so let’s see crunchy did I talk with Tarek outside me when I’m in Dubai unfortunately not this year he couldn’t make it I got a bit darker see look oh no I was Lisa Lucia EDC famiglia someone I think they’re surely what am I feeling finishing up the lizard well that was actually only back here but it caught me over there I was filming a load more for it yesterday and I hope to have the next video installments up next week Sarah thinking of getting a rebel classic something more faster than the leo everything and something slower than multinationals relining what do you think do if you had an altar lightning I wouldn’t bother with the rebel I think the altar lining is just the epitome basically of course if you want something in the middle go for a havoc can I make a video answering some of your questions yeah Bobby you can do that that’s kind of doing now and we’re getting off track let’s get back to building come on guys we’re getting off track and this is going to be a very long video otherwise we’ll be going 50 minutes and we’ve glued together we’ve got the bottom half of a plane it looks like something so we’ve got the horns installed we’ve got next next steps for the landing gear well we’ll do a landing gear a little bit later on I like to do a landing gear after we’ve got most of the plane finished as it just means that it’s easy to move about and if you put any more pressure than you need to anyway you’re not pushing down on the carbon landing gear so we’re gonna skip that part in the manual for now we’ll come back to it a little bit later okay so the next step is more servers doesn’t she lost her cool so thank you know this mixer everyone hit the like button I could not agree with you more I’m gonna be done yes do primo but I think you remember the old 35 makes times back in those days you were able to use only receiver from any brand with your radio I don’t believe that is accurate at all you have to use a photographer for double radio and you have to use a junior receiver for a junior radio so that is not accurate at all okay later on Soho and that we’re missing what so want to make sure we get things right way around fits in beautifully again we’ll be using hot glue one of those this other server as well rich seems like it can go forwards or backwards how do you guys recommend to install it well you say forwards or backwards guys this is a lower manual don’t you love it when you can’t find it you want hmm anybody know which way the aileron servo goes forwards or backwards upside-down yes it does okay see should always check the manual before you start where’s the fun in that okay okay that looks good just like that okay does that mean we can get the top off on make it actually look like an airplane now I think it does you’ve got two servos in our guru so was in once upon which we’re going to do now yes okay silver wire we want all the silver wires running down the same side so I’m gonna actually just cut a small slip here just so I can get that one that’s upside down so we can get the wire going in the same side as all the others that way they will need them handy for the receiver will then just put the speed controller on the opposite side that way the playing will be balanced laterally as well okay so far and it looks like a plane forwards backwards guys you’re giving me either right or wrong information the correct answer in the end was forwards [Music] Oh Mia no man meant a service can boost our suburban areas octave power porca sankaran gusto del armas de ovulating want a potentiometer Mucha battery ask tamarkan say million addresses no children pero mi casa de Gracia powered not a penis gets the gravid elementos they nothing when the midis announced yo t not in table tennis don’t this boy a star are you a parrot or Italian componentes get recomienda so super cosas para in Recife Venus Sunday infinity attack and no second we’re done okay now we want to make sure this is completely straight again just as before again lovely this is never have an issue because the RC factory planes always slot in nicely and come out nice and straight but it’s just good to double-check after all once it’s glued it’s not be glued forever so just take your time and do it right 20 how’s it doing welcome from Instagram thanks for joining us did we kind of get the links and test pin it and I bought it to make sure it looks right before you glue always a good recommendation to people asking my girlfriend Raquel questions in the chat as well so she’s the she’s basically mean but in helicopters she’s a lot more beautiful than lying of course though not too hard I suppose okay continue gluing stuff here like that everything’s looking nice and straight you want to make sure that everything’s tight as well sometimes when you’ve loose stuff in it tends to sort of pull pull parts to have you explained if you lay flat on a table and glue the bottom part it would often pull the horizontal fuselage upwards at the tips so we want to make sure that when we do the top off on its pulling it back into shape so just make sure that you hold it whilst the glue is drying just setting mário de si gracias normally they can use in English okay Sammy Mutapa son goes what I said some new e-commerce there are so many political dangers okay servos servos recommend our kid combo them after Holly Hunter can I take a solo salute command our solos etek that’s a cuarenta suppository comprise the kind of audience of como éstos not roast twice and even because I’ve done one side we know the fuselage isn’t have glued so I’m just gonna go all the way down because I’ve no worries about it being in the right place it’s really good on the other side just a bit extra strength like that Raquel Martinez going to be hungry if we talk helicopters nobody’s perfect right have you heard about the new SAT honey that’s the informer which one is that by may or may not have information about it spent a lot of time with these guys in Dubai had a lot of fun there we go we have one very nice straight plane look straight to you guys looking good that’s it okay so we have something that now resembles an airplane I think we can now basically get rid of the cling film now as that’s mostly all the big components all glued together so we’ve got the top half done time to do the rudder okay so they lit up just going to stick on the back here again just make sure everything fits gonna do the same again gonna kick it at some sign this is this is the one that really is a little bit harder because it’s sort of two halves but it’s good hopefully I got one nicely stuck okay now really does look like an airplane next step okay the next step seems to be to add this other tail skid however again just like the main landing gear I’m going to install that at the end as I don’t want to be crushing it now whilst still overly manipulating the plane looks nice thanks to our uniform at what’s happening that was gone quiet we’ve got other people watching and nobody talking Mario wanders I anything on the done been a waste of ala so it is no soba theaters which sighs playing needs a power box this definitely good question what sighs playing needs a paradox I would say that any kind of jet needs a power box and for aerobatics personally I always install the power box anything from a 50cc upwards the reason being I actually had many many years ago an extra which even then when the servos were not as powerful as they are now it’s actually basically reset the receiver in flight due to overconsumption meaning that I had rather interesting landing with no input from myself which meant so from that point on personally anything that’s 50 cc C or larger will be getting a power box being a small one such as an evolution or as you get bigger using the larger power boxes what batteries do I recommend for 8 MKS high voltage servos I’m guessing the eight servos that means you’re running about 200 cc airplane I personally run on either 3,500 to s 2 packs boom pow box that will give me easily four flights with about half the pack remaining and that’s hard flying hard consumption flights if I’m going to be flying more than that I’m only put in a five thousand milliamp set of packs which will give me five or six flights again without really dropping below half and I also take my ignition and smoke them all from those same batteries as well so my claims only ever have two batteries in the aerobatic models Steve Walker do I use any of the small turbines like jet b20 I have flown the p20 quite a lot however I don’t yet own one unfortunately however I think it’s an absolute gem of a turbine it’s just so cool so small but so powerful one of my dreams is to actually get it’s an old plane now but it’s a really fun one and that is the opus jet with a p20 on the top and those things are just so quick and so fun and sobbing destructible okay so the next up we have the elevator horn which seems to stick out the top yeah that’s just don’t you love it when things got into place easily the first time that’s the difference between our C Factory and a lot of other kick producers out there they’ve obviously taken time to build a few of these themselves before saying them and everything just lines up and fits as it should do meaning we’re building this plane we’ve been going for just over one hour and we have quite a lot of an airplane built out so hopefully probably in the next hour we’ll have [Music] okay stay away from the fumes hate the fumes of sino nothing worse well we’ve got how am i flying with others like ah yes flown with him in western park also flew cut it with him at jet power last year what planes out and where can i buy Quinnie tea this one this one is from RC factory it is the mini crack yak it’s basically the small brother to this one this is the normal backyard series crack yak that 180 centimeters this one’s 60 centimeters even though it actually looks quite a bit smaller yes how are we going how are we guys doing 91 which power box you recommend is that Hassan what’s the question what are you going to be putting the power box in to go down of curiosities anywhere else on the chap building an aircraft and watching the video at the same time yeah me okay so what’s next making up all the linkages so we have both the same length so there’s no issues there and we have to make up all the small parts now which lots of stealing little parts so he got DS which I’m going to control or guide the pushrod and these are the bits that we wanting which are the kind of Quick Links that we go on to the servo arms and control horns we’ve got six of these so that’s every single surface and every single now this is where it gets really fiddly I’m gonna bring back in my trusty clean film cone what goes on there with devasena okay so dad would sign that first smell today and that’s one gonna do the same for the other one so we’ve got one for elevator one for it up now a little trick here is to actually wrap that in cotton as well that means that no matter what kind of pressure is exerted on it normally if it’s just going like that it should hold however if any kind of that pressure is put on it because it is just a glue joint it could come loose so if we just wrap that a couple of times with some thinner cotton we have absolutely no right to it and it makes it pretty much impossible for that to then come loose so Justin and and there we have it a nice we finished and very strong very strong gritting do the same together we’re gonna chat everyone saying out there is there a video of you flying the jet at the back on YouTube yes I see informa take a look at my youtube channel you can run a search for ultimatum which is the normal name model there’s a couple videos on that or if you want to see a recent video if I remember correctly you can go to the video of the Cordoba air show which was a video uploaded around September October last year and there’s some really fast flying with that plane in that video there we go again just cut off the excess here and there we go that wonder now that that means we can now get everything linked up to the actual server’s themselves so we’re going to slop that onto the controller for one and we can do the same for number two they just push through and now we need all these funny little parts we saw earlier which slide onto the carbon tube then they slide into some slots which are actually already cut in the phone and that just keeps the tube from bending in competitors of UNIX programming are comparable Uranus Banja Luka comprar in Acapulco TVs I mean going in each other – Oh boss and I know it a graphical program yes there we only mucho master factor what are your thoughts on the new palette RC slick prototypes I think they look really good they have been developing that for quite a while now I’m not longer than as being in the public limelight and my understanding from the pilots that have already flown it in is that it is a definite involvement from the pilot RC laser it is equally agile equally aggressive but it seems also to be more precise as well so when I get to try that it should hopefully be real soon I actually have a one on its way as we speak in one of the absolutely killer color schemes that have come out should be good can’t wait to get my hands on it and see if all that is accurate how much good it is so it is okay very needle hello from San Diego hello from Spain Brian Fritz right back at ya but what else you got there what do you think of the come at a sport absolutely brilliant plane I flew the lot back in the day I’m very good easy to fly but aerobatic and fun playing that anyone who hasn’t heard well probably doesn’t know what they’re missing it’s actually quite hard to find these holes in the phone but do look closely because they are there so there’s no need to create new holes and they’re all there at the same distances so once all in there would be just glue them down when we can have a very precise control over that surface knowing that the push drive despite being a very thin carbon is not going to go anywhere at all who’s going to put the second one on make sure that we’ve got these the right way around and then I’ll start wrapping them with some sign our idea I welcome your late my friend Stewart what do I think of the extreme flight claims Oh fun question now a lot of you know tie fly and actually help with the pilot RC factory so whatever I say is gonna sound biased in general I think they are good planes in general I think they do fly well however I do tend to find that they have normally at least one thing unusual with pretty much all designs be it that the elevator has a different control authority to the river or the roll is slightly unusual or axis well in general the flavors but I’m going to my pilots which I feel do fly better with there especially with the latest designs such as the laser and hopefully again we have the problem of small pieces and big fingers use some thin pliers just see this is why I enjoy building larger planes pushing it into the hollows is the case two more to go what are you guys saying hello from Slovakia welcome when are you coming to South Africa well I have been in South Africa twice before I was actually in talks to go back just as this whole coronavirus situation struck so hopefully once this whole thing gets resolved we will be coming back to South Africa I have a lot of good friends there Terry Tangiers and learned of all the people out there can’t wait to get back nothing do you still have your Sukhoi 29 no that was a cruel model it was a cruel sukhoi which pleasure from that plane but I had to get rid of it to make space for the replacement at the time which was the crew extra with which I competed well throughout Europe with varying degrees of success and bother – and I think it was the right choice I very much enjoyed the Sukhoi but I do feel that the extra was a step above it okay that’s one side glued just do the one being very careful not to glue the rod to these supports otherwise doesn’t really work yeah bit more kick yeah there we go let’s see what else you got who told you we’re not come on the more for me Yankees not to capita good morning from he said USA he said is that are you so no I can’t get Mario Brothers proceed of it como si varios años blocked off in either Samara nothing or nothing lo que pasa es piquant oh hey commercial curse off boys nah a policy get there yes I was a curvy Commerce okay so let’s get the server arms done now these I believe actually have let’s see what kind of length of silver one dream now because these servers are so small we want to make sure that we can get absolutely every last ounce of torque out of them so we need the server one which is the exact length required to get full travel but not limit the server throat so I’m just a quick look see quite how much the the rod moves for full deflection just quite a bit so we are going to need quite a long server on here fortunately these particular servers the ones that come with the RC factory combo actually have long server arms in the kit which is quite unusual with small servers but unusual but very very handy see very nice move on the server so it just doesn’t seem right when you finally get nice a lot of server arms included and the first thing you do is cut them in half and get rid of most of it anyway so nice long said well I’m gonna send to the server first where’s my little device now this is actually something that we’d be doing a video on soon it’s been a part of cool tech this is the setup tool by our seed light systems now this does work as a service centre er as a servo tester but it also has a load of other really cool features which I’m not going to reveal yet but we’ll have that in a new episode of cool tech coming in the next week’s to the YouTube channel so anyone who isn’t already subscribe to the channel and he’s enjoying today quality of the other videos make sure to come back so now I think that this these servers are not on high voltage and this doesn’t regulate okay so we’re gonna change of plan guys we’re going to get the Mojo installed and that way we can go through the ESC from the motor to get the lower voltage that the servos need so I don’t neck it up and hopefully I haven’t damaged that one by giving it a toss we’ve all day though right so speed controller is again we want provided by the combo by an RC factory which is the valta high-performance brushless esc before so probably just a no-name but it is the same brand they have on here as well so get rid of our cling film speed controller motor now the motor is actually good quality motor the motor in the combo is a P motor eighty 2202 so we all know to motor as good brand of motors so again should be perfect for the application quality control pass card it’s nice detail okay small little motor now time to get some soldiering done need to get our soldering iron up here got some solder got some heat-shrink lighter I’ll get this heated up and some of it more of your chats I should have really put the extension need a little bit closer it’s a little bit short okay so whilst that’s heating up what’s everyone saying because if pressure is good for him as well well what pressure what we doing work out are we going to hold the Yak in your workshop when it’s done I would love to say yes but it’s a no simply because as with any kind of plane test flights are important now yes this is only a foamy and yes it should work straight off the bat however being a new model I am going to want to fly it outdoors first and just make sure that things like the throws and the expose are about right the C G’s Rex should be see what the throttle curve is like if it’s slow or if it’s aggressive and modify that if necessary before getting it and flying it indoors next to big expensive plans trying it but even for me I think that would be no better pressure than performing life tell me about it let you all in on a secret while this was warming up the videos that you will see on YouTube you would not believe how many takes are required to get each one of the clips that you see may take four attempts it may take eight or ten attempts so doing this live it’s actually going surprisingly well I’m quite happy with it hopefully you will enjoying this as much as I am enjoying making it Martin would you get the G B from RC factory now I think we said there’s only one the G B looks absolutely wicked I think they’ve done a great job in making a plane that looks like a GB but will actually fly more like a foamy so I think it is gonna be one that I’m gonna have to add to my collection yes no no no no we’re not and what do barista ie bad or no porca Tantra how really small como estamos con finals are after in Casa rubia Chando para holly modern Minotaur como para una menos car sarajevo padania goes to antes entonces esta hablando amigo a car of market the ten minutes for one of the positives and pretty paleography yes time Strada man you know you’d better go me go what do you think of the new quill extra a laser now the extra I had it and I think it’s a great plan for any kind of pattern or even for freestyle competitions unfortunately as with any composite playing though it is heavier than a wooden counterpart so for just out-and-out fun general freestyle and just enjoying yourself wooden planes are the way to go at least for now even though the composite does look newer for longer unless you have any kind of crash or issue okay well you know surrogacy but not under any plans to visit Kerala in South India not yet but hey who knows most of the places I’ve have been fortunate to visit I’m never expected to be able to go and enjoy so never say never the sketches for the turboprop I told you about are coming along they are we can’t just talk about turboprops and sketches we need to see them mr. Yu’s core transmitter the center servos directly yes again I’m not completely sure what voltage that outputs I do do that with all of my larger servos however it would be good for me to figure out what vault is it outputs it may be four point eight five point nine or seven point four and I’ve already overcooked one of the servos hopefully not too badly I will go to the safe route and just use the back for now but yes normally that would be a perfect solution I’ll see you in formant do I still make my own server extensions with power box products yes every single one of the extension leads that I have in any of my planes are all made by myself I simply like the fact that you can have the appropriate length for your particular model in addition to the fact that I feel that the power box premium wire really is a step above any kind of extension II you can buy elsewhere it doesn’t need protecting it’s very very strong and the section the wire itself is also thicker than most brands even though they look thin basically the outer coating is aviation-grade coating which means it’s hit persistent and rub resistant resistant that’s not saying it’s British it won’t get cut but it will resist if a whole lot more than the normal silicon wires do so you have all those advantages plus extensions made to your ideal length so yes all my own wires thought it means I can use the two-for-one wires or the one-for-one wires in which using the power box wires you can have two connections or three or one made at a single connection and and the issues about how to worry about connecting several why’s why the right way the wrong way etc Mario quite a sentimental pogrom they actively West Krueger mask Randy is a singular joiner event a participant Milton middle of the end of me très bientôt spiritus do not IND yes yes an army rocky DoCoMo policy and chilly catch OFS to our embassy don’t deter maintain Uno’s groups impression on des una Terrenas enormous multipath vistas de Paris Opera have you flown a pilot RC trainer nineteen actually yes I got to test the prototype and we made a video of that that was actually on my friends YouTube channel the guy who sells these planes in Spain acro RC checking out on YouTube we did a full aerobatic flight with the trainer with the massive wing yeah it was not as expected but it was fun expensive but at least when you get checked out you know you’re getting quality and reliability [Music] now I’m not going to be using the bananas that are included with the speed controller just maybe having it soldered directly onto the speed controller so we are gonna have to check which way the motor spins which I would make a bet with anyone here on the channel right now that the first attempt is going to have the motor spinning in Reverse as is normally always the case what do you guys think will the motor turn the right way or the wrong way the first time we try I’m quite confident in Little River work the wrong way around but hey I may be pleasantly surprised who knows right okay I’ll get some heat-shrink on there for once we’ve got this tinned up now I may be good at a number of things but I will openly admit that soldiering is not one of them so guys any hints or tips that you can give me for this one rather than the usual other way around feel free to jump in there hopefully one of these days I will be able to solve the properly until then lots of heat lots of solder and keep fingers crossed so heat shrink shrink okay don’t tell me to be careful my fingers yes okay so he’s going to tin these wives I’d really hate these thin wires as well if I’m bad with soldering this is just kind of worse for me but hey I have figured out with it if you get everything teamed with the same soul that it tends to work better than if you don’t so fingers crossed shaky fingers okay I’m pretty decent so that one fun graphic close up because of course if it spins the wrong way around I only need to revert to swap two wires not three so that one will be done God he shouldn’t come the others why number two and why number three yeah okay so just that in the hope that I’ve lost the bet and that was right the first time sure I’m just create a new model in my radio for the mini cracky AK and we should be good to go so hopefully get the servo centered and hope you haven’t burnt at first okay what does everyone saying in the chat have you flying with the power box hire three extra yet does it have a different feel to the older idea 3/8 well no I haven’t yet blown it myself however I have seen it in action whether it feels different depends very much on what setup you have done to it if you don’t really change it from the factory basic settings it will run very similar to the 3/8 after all the 3 was already massively successful and popular so it wasn’t the case of completely starting and you however the three extra does have extra features which allow you to control things like how aggressive you want the gyro to be and how snappy you want it feel when you start playing with that and we increase it especially for aerobatics or aerobatic Jets not so much for scale flying and and warbirds once you start increasing it for those types of models then from what I’ve seen it does seem a lot more locked in even more so than wonderful wrists what radiates off like power box call what is your general opinion on spectrum and should you upgrade can I leave that one as a no comment let’s just say that I have always used Futaba and now power box have you ever flown an RC airliner no not yet maybe I need to speak with my good friend rahmani-r see see if he’ll be crazy enough to let me have a go funny thing is I actually enjoy flying anything so whether it’s an aerobatic plane jet or anything you’re not slower and more scale I do actually enjoy flying it I don’t try to do crazy stuff with it I just enjoy flying anything whether it’s a glider and I know you name it I love it to me now before we lose anything important needle unseat a matter of death acrobatic OHS coma so extra the cognac pero es mucho my Grammys compusa the consumption Marga yes okay that’s it real simple plane to program set up four channels three servers I’ll see uniform halife like I hate yes I had a year and a half or two years of flying helis probably about three years ago I quit simply because I didn’t really have time to do everything ants alone I wanted at that point in time I was like o matic models jets drones and helicopters and I just didn’t have the time to maintain everything to the high level that I want it so I had about two years I can’t fly 3d with them I enjoy flying with the way longer than I probably should but a lot of people for sure especially wreck out my government because actually cancer percent kind of the same thing in the chat Ryan my Spanish is amazing thank you I’ve lived here for quite a number of years now so I had a lot of time to practice okay so let’s get this receiver bound binding successfully bound good oh okay so modes are connected to number one as we said making sure that wires are not going to be touching it on a short circuit anything else okay I may need to just increase the travel the power box car radio actually comes with the end points reduced basically so that you don’t force any servos if you’re creating a new model that’s already been set up it comes to limited to 50% so I’ve just set everything back to 100 because obviously the speed controller wants to receive minus 102 plus 100 and hopefully if we don’t need to reverse it which I think we do know just need a little bit more trouble okay so I need that ten percent not a hundred okay so double-check yeah good noises okay so without touching the wires which way is this gonna spin right way out one way check people and place your bets now and this in Reverse of course it had to be now you rarely will it ever be right the first time okay so solving line back on love son small lady movie Oh Joe right does that mean right as a it was right or right as in wrong as in left as in right uh well he was going right when it should be left I never got it on the first try either George what’s I totally agree I mean watching music it’s always wrong always wrong everyone agrees one thing I’d say what the next time that you guys like the next time that you sold otherwise and you get it right the first time send me some send me send me a video prove it I don’t believe ya me recommend us even was really quadratic materia Millar to Venus Cooper supported si en tu eres una Buena de cochon SAT in a society no service please brothers Kayla sindhu Laguna let’s hug the pedo stach on Culver arrows and test you recommended I see maybe some beaubien but if you can say I won’t serve okay Tina DeLuca simply another interracial now yet the waterway pero tienen que se tansu ‘mentally heroes case undateable de fumaça bientôt i to Valencia CF okay no I mean okay nothing was a keep on the window see ya so you like my Spanish good practice I come on I’ve seen anything was that my father won’t have anything when I’ve got my yellow how many of you have done something like this and then soldered them back the same way that they were which continues to be wrong hopefully that’s not what we’re going to do now not really Mary Boozer three years of Spanish classes ah so you want all the answers in Spanish Matthew can you confirm either we’ve all done that yes we knowledge II do I use slow flight props well electric isn’t really my forte if you ask me about petrol planes jets I can give you an answer for most things electric planes what’s what ours speed controllers motors the numbers on the motors and all that kind of thing isn’t something that I’ve really ever got so on this occasion I’m going to be using the crop which the kit which the combo has included which is a GWS seventy by three and a half so that isn’t a slow flight problem hopefully it’s gonna be great if it is pick up a couple more if it isn’t well I’ll try and find a few friends on Facebook or Instagram who have it plain if they have it with this motor I asked them what prop they’re using what combination they found to be best that is exactly what happens with this one this plane came with again the combo and it came with slow flight prop which was a nine by four point seven and I tried it and there was no power at all I was very disappointed I spoke with one of my good friends from Pakistan who has this same plane and this same combo and had loads of power he told me that I have to change the prop to an 11 so two inches more like ammeter and a 4.6 slow flight version now 4.6 not the 4.7 4.7 has the same rounded shape however the 4.6 version is a much more aggressive thinner shape prop and I have to say it is very powerful and a vast improvement on the one that came in the kit okay let’s try this again [Music] okay that looks good let’s just check that it all works in the right direction yes second time lucky ok that’s always good when you don’t to make the third attempt for something that only has two possibilities cover these up as we don’t anything shorting out an article works how I fly the cracks over beaver no not yet but it does look like a full plane p3r job 26 you guys need to come up with some easy and heinous product is okay do I have a job outside our scene yes I have a nine to six job just like everybody else basically I work Monday to Friday work in a lawyer’s office called Alec advisors here in Toledo Spain we deal with basically everything to do with owning property in Spain so that’s buying selling mortgages taxes and kind of anything in between personally the financial department in the company and I have power of attorney for the company so I spend most of my time out no trees and banks going over and signing contracts and public documents it is fun but it’s a vast change from what you guys all see me as which is in here flying kind of mechanic II tools oil and grease very different suit tie clean shave them the whole lot right how great news even telling me that the prop is spot on great news absolutely little bit like it when things work right out of the box I’ve never understood why combos aren’t ideal as they are and if they are ideal as it sounds I’ll be a happy boy how many generations of Pickering are there in this hobby very good question normally when in this hobby we always tend to find that the father instills flying into the son or daughter in Raquel’s case in my case I’m the only mother in the family nobody in my family flies none of the people in my immediate surroundings blue and it was something that I discovered by accident des and I basically just got hooked on seeing it so everything that I’ve ever done within the world of this hobby has always been completely self propelled I mean I have always had the support from my family trying to help by taking me to the flying fields before I could drive or buying me the odd plane when I started out and I was about 13 years old however everything everything that I’ve had to do I’ve had to learn basically the hard way either internet friends from the flying field or trial and error in most cases just like Matthew going walkabout radio fliers as you mentioned in the comments good John thank austell welcome anyone who doesn’t know John in the moment this is the guy behind orange aircraft if you don’t know that name you’ve been living under a rock some of the most impressive models out there go check it out where are you okay was I brought up and when did I move to Spain I was we miss when I was six no originally used to live in Carlisle okay get up there questions let’s get some building and flying them is don’t you get outside and I should even hear that but okay and see if we’ve broken this hopefully that’s gonna be a no John leave a link in the chat of the website let the let the guys see your brilliant machines you can also check out his Facebook page plus these skills where he’s showing some amazing building that’s going on for his planes just have to see them that’s a relief okay good so that’s now centered we can now on there and move on okay so now we’ve got the stubble remnants toppled I’m going to turn everything on again and I’m going to figure out which one of the four or five holes that I have is the right one to use to get the maximum deflection while not limiting the survey use so without reducing the server travel which one gives us the best range now first of all you need to go into a radio and just make sure that the radio actually has the server set to its full travel I’m going to brother I basically keep going up until you stop here in the server make that one go back one well if you guessed to the maximum on the radio well my deal okay so I need to just offset a little bit just so we’ve got the center right because I’m watching a server one isn’t centered all the way do we need okay so on this occasion it seems that the shortest hole is going to be sufficient for us so to make sure we get the most out of that servo that’s exactly what we’re gonna do now these little punch through keepers are very strong but they’re also terribly terribly tight together so just make sure that it is indeed the right hole before putting it on permanently so I’m just going to screw that in there make sure the road is straight as well tighten it up but I’m going to leave it loose on the servo and just make sure we have all the travel that we want to me and that does seem to be absolutely perfect so what’s the best way to do this I think I’m gonna try and take the servo on back off again so I’m not forcing the gears on the server which oh yeah we do but as it’s such a tight fit because I’m gonna have to leave that on that okay option B it’s when you just know that this is really fun and probably painful because you have to push it through with you finger through the hole and it’s got a very thin there has got to be the better system okay so let’s go on now we just need to push it in all the way now we need to hope that that was right because there’s no way that is coming off easily okay so that’s one done now we know that based on the fact that they have the same length control horn on them the same length so the line should be ideal for the elevator as well let’s just look visually it seems okay yeah looks good so I’m going to time again this time we’re gonna use everything the same but we’re gonna put it on before installing it on them all which means should be not easier you guys are saying mean ology we should all make a video when we go flying for the first time after this confinement I could not agree more in fact that sounds like a good idea for my next challenge or one of my next challenges which is once we get once we can go out what was your first right like what was the first thing that you wanted to and did fly Amy oh girl yeah oh I see do I still have this about me well actually no that wasn’t my own that was a good friend of mine who was struggling to make it do what he wanted it to do so we changed a few things he actually changed the speed controllers change the wires that garden to speed controllers because they were restricting too much power going to the motors and we ended up swapping out the gyro that came with model for very much overkill to a gyro 3yz from power box now that maybe was overkill but the plane flew so amazingly afterwards that it was totally worth going over can I read it okay lo let me go do you advise to put filter between tank and carburetor what do you think around twice two or three times a carpeted floor covering okay I always do recommend using a filter inside a fuel tank just because you don’t want any kind of rubbish arriving at your engine the opposite goes for smoke in a smoke I never use a filter because basically it’s already kind of hard enough for the pump to suck the fuel through without making it harder by having to suck through a filter as well in that case in that case what I only do is our filter when going into the tank as opposed to when going out of the tank as I was wrapping the fuel line around the fuel tank a few times to prevent it from siphoning out I believe that that is a absolutely massive myth I have never done that and I’ve never had shorter flight times because of it the I’m going to be a time when you benefit from having that breather around the tank once is that if you lift the tail of the plane up for say a photo or for checking the elevator server or a bit of servo then it is more convenient because you don’t have fuel running out if that doesn’t happen though there’s no benefit at all to running around the tank other than wasting fuel right I’ll see you in Forman 93 people hey good good grab a cup okay the noise lucky ghost 1/4 a concrete event a como este quark Irukandji de Uyuni go parallel grammatical Denise ka la pagina therefore if a I craft los juegos because in the whatever place an absolute I mean Danella not gonna go yesterday why embarrassed I mean Lhasa and significant say hey when will you show the black laser on the channel as soon as we can get out we’ll be doing a video of the kind of the maiden flight testing showing both the actual plane itself and all the installation of what components are used why and how and part of that is including the pilot is what up okay let’s yep just love it when things work so much easier okay again we’re going to increase the throw until we max out like that we know we’ve got the center so no so we can now put the so we’ve already put the the link on it so it should be nice and easy just remember to slide the column through it before putting done otherwise you knock yourself next time install the server arms before installing the service it’s really not fun to install them when they’re already in ok so that’s going to reverse it a little bit of suction just to get the arm centered like that hopefully as well so we’re doing good we’re pretty much there now we can get on to the ailerons okay so the ailerons actually come the other ones do come with a bent control horn which the original set of arms for the high-tech servos don’t come with so we’re gonna have to adapt them as it shows in the manual which is just basically gluing the two together and wrapping the cotton around it as we did with the push rods just so that it stays nice and strong now rather than doing it on top I’m actually going to use the hole and do it through the bottom however the hole isn’t quite big enough so just one second go a very scary looking remap just make that hole a little bit bigger what the police say if they’re caught with that on the street and that’s but that cannot be good what does anyone say exact Dean Moretti who helps me with the filming when I’m flying well ideally most of the time that is my lovely Raquel I felt her flying Kelly’s and she fills me flying my planes in the past it’s also being my good friend Emilio from a crow I see the guy who deals with these here in Spain and a lot of the time when neither of those two are available well it could be literally anyone anyone at all who I find close by normally who seems to be quite up for the challenge and quite good with mobile phones normally means that quite I became the video camera as well so Oh often trust almost strangers just to try and do their best and then figure well anything that they match the film is better than nothing at all and I’ll try and make the most out of whatever video clips I have there you go so that now fits on there nicely this plastic bag is that instead of the cling film a bit smaller just need a couple drops yeah I’m going on straight which is why we haven’t kicked it yet hmm doesn’t really need to kick it based on the plastics made out of it seems to stick really well already so rather than add kicker and then out sign I once we’ve wrapped it with this I’ll just wrap it straight off I have more sign now and they can pick everything all together it doesn’t need to be super cleaning it just a couple of wraps around each side just so that it can’t convict the cyano reacts with the cotton and makes it super super strong you’ll not regret the survived before you’ll break me yeah so on believe me been there done that got too many t-shirts looking good hey thanks Keith Thompson Thompson you mean ology ah yes you’re building the pilot RC extra how’s that doing dude look forward to seeing that fly soon once we can get outside again and actually gonna fly not just dream about it all threads off and we now have a slightly longer control hole perfectly made for how high-tech silver as its using the original high-tech so I now need to have two to push rods and we’re gonna the same as before just at the top of CA onto the horn until it quicklink ticker on to the carbon rod and then marry them together trying not to stick your fingers I was doing so well I think it’s physically impossible to use superglue and not get something stuck to your finger all right I mean it’s just it it’s just like the motor wires all over again it just doesn’t happen superglue equals fingers again that was what it was designed for it wasn’t it designed for the Vietnam War to be a quick fix to wounded soldiers I believe which is why it sticks so well two fingers and skin okay so days they can now go on to the control homes we can now put our so on to our server let’s just send to that first as I receive it on yeah going through our motor to use the regulator now making sure not to get the servos any more voltage than they need just tuned in where we thought we’d bent the motor the motor on the servo motor or the pop one up but we’ve got lucky Danny thanks for joining under stay safe mineralogy how do you run your GP motors straight go fly which settings or few tanks analogy what I always do with my engines is basically with CNC technology being so good nowadays you don’t need to have it running on the floor for a load of time instead I test it on the floor just make sure that everything was okay that it isn’t trying to quit when you accelerate or you decelerate and then go and fly it’s very important to have some battles in the cowling so that anything can get cooled well whilst flying however it’s actually better to run the engine in whilst flying because it has more airflow over the cylinders than it does when sitting on the bench getting the hot just turning that propwash going over it so I always do two or three flights just doing gentle aerobatics just may be sort of a half loop but most sort of bit lower a bit higher a bit faster a bit slower changing the engine speed but then very quickly after two or three flights becoming more and more aggressive and normally after five or six flights I’ve kind of forgotten it’s a new engine and we’re good to go and that’s always worked for me very very well Matthieu going what was my first ever plane that would be a manufacturer which I don’t believe exists anymore it was a RC arc from Italy and they make plastic planes which when I was starting I thought was a brilliant idea it was a standard high wing trainer for a 46 size blue engine however it was made out of plastic and tire so it was a bit heavier however the the wing itself was actually phone call inside this kind of thick plastic wrapper which meant you could literally stand on top of the wing and it wouldn’t bend or break it unfortunately I didn’t really crash it I had the odd failed landing when trying to learn to fly but nothing too serious the only issue I ever had with that plane was that the landing gear was also plastic and even on a good landing it would often flex out then flex back meaning it would bounce but for learning to fly with and gaining confidence knowing that it’s plastic and you can’t break it I won’t comment on your mouth there’s a Depot the robot Redelmeier do I have nitro claim no not anymore I used to but don’t have anymore I don’t have for quite a few years I think that’s in general as well though most planes that used to be powered by glow can now be powered by that really small gas engines so I think glow is kind of gone and is probably not coming back except for the really really small motors which aren’t there yet but again in those cases you would normally use an electric powered motor instead of the glow so yeah I think glow is kind of had its heyday and probably will be gone for good we probably isn’t the bad thing because they were never particularly reliable they leave any greasy and just quite whole even though that is where we all came from I still like the glow for the high-power yes that is actually a very good point though MTL FPV glow engines do provide some really cool noise and power especially for high speed models however again you can kind of get the same thing from electric power you just can’t get the long flight times or the quick fill up and go okay servos that’s centered you can get once these are all in place we’ll be putting a dab of hot glue on them getting them locked in place firmly okay one thing I will admit to though is that I’ve rarely put the screws into the servos for the server ones in electric planks only ever electric plants there isn’t being normally they’re tight enough but they don’t need the screw to keep the servo all them on you have a big enough crash it can pop out which is probably good because it may say the server but I’ve never had one come out because of not having the screw in so even though you just see me push those in and not put the screws in I will not be putting the screws in any of them I will of course be doing them in place otherwise the servo it’s gonna be going everywhere okay so a little bit of off training center it’s a bit there we go now this is of course we’re using a single server so we want to make sure that we have both aid ones as leveled as we can before starting because otherwise we’re always gonna have both anyone’s up or both hands down so rats oh don’t you love it when you can get something on ok looks like we got some practice first ones going ok just need to push it him all the way now my baby though a star oh yes there we go one person less does anyone know a better way to get these these time little clip so there must be a better way there is let me know please this is definitely why I like big planes okay number two is a good car you can tell I’m concentrating I even went quiet okay so that’s got both in there you can now get our push rods connect those two our arms after pushing them through the holes as we said don’t forget to push them through the holes otherwise you didn’t ever get them on because there’s no adjustability in one side of them get the other side in push it through again fortunately I still have good eyesight but some of these things put you to the test what everyone saying I’m good company I’m Emilio cooperate thank you I have to take off the soda to get those stupid clips on I agree but rather awkward but we got that yes what is my personal favorite 3d plane yes do you want a an answer regarding the most aggressive 3d plane or the old school slow and no 3d plane let me know and I’ll give you an answer Rory where’s Rory welcome now Rory for anyone who hasn’t seen the result of my challenge video or isn’t on real flight much it is the guy who’s making a load of the colour schemes for the planes out there some model designs and he’s a great UK pilot who’s up and coming so keep an eye out Rory seems to be everywhere in every chat every simulator so keep an eye hat flies good but overall good guy as well [Music] but I don’t know at least about mas que nada por que no están todo sagginess and mucho in a poster tambien Lukasik Oh a little sports rope tremendo da mucho a little hiding dilute around it yes I profess come on I’ll go to film – away everyone has the ten they wore that in hell are you from Canada twin-turbine Canada now Canada is a place I’ve never been it’s on the bucket list though hello thank you for joining us these screws small screws small parts for a small plane that will be big fun to fly that’s my idea oh yeah I think I know told you guys the idea behind this plane now you could ask why do I want a smaller yak well this one flies amazingly well it’s my favorite phone me at the moment without a doubt and I fly it as often as I can in my garden unfortunately the weather this year has been absolutely terrible here and even though we’ve had good warmth and Sun it’s been very windy and this thing is very light despite being six millimeter VPP and the turbulence around my garden of Washington plays havoc with the idea I have for this one however is that as it’s a bit smaller but most of the components are practical and sized it’s going to be a little bit heavier as far as weight to size and I’m hoping that it will be a little bit less affected by the wind turbulence in my garden what I also being super agile and super powerful because it’s a small plane now I have had one of these that was a similar size before a different model and it was loads of fun and it fit both of those criteria unfortunately though it just got so mashed up after so many flights and so many grounding counters that it just had to go so hopefully this is gonna be a really fun plane I can fly even in a little bit more wind than I can the slightly larger and motivation okay now let’s get these servos Center and you should be good to go almost fortunately we do have these screws here so we can’t readjust these if necessary that’s not the one that’s straight yeah now we need to do the same on the other side okay now let’s get that hot glue gun going and we can secure the servos but in their final places and tighten everything down in their final positions as well now while that’s warming up can focus on getting the motor installed as well now the motor we just screw on to the backplate screw it onto the backplate and then the backplate we’re gonna glue onto the plank just for some sign oh and lots of synote and lots of kicker the advantage of these planes is exactly that they’re makes my phone that already resists impacts quite well and any kind of impact you can always fix it with sinai so the motor comes off just put more sign-out the server comes loose put more glue on it the top half comes off a bit put more glue on it glue fixes everything for these planes okay so do we have any screws screws yes Thank You T motor boats are screws making life easy for me one saying once we get some screws in what’s my favorite size jet to fly and why that’s a good question um I think the problem is that I enjoy all planes so much that my answer here could be so varied the large stuff is really fun to fly for one reason basically because it looks so cool it’s big the inertia’s the way it flies is very different if we go down a bit the planes fly more like models as opposed to miniature large airplanes and the smaller ones can go a lot faster can be a lot more agile you can push them a lot further so what that also means that the plane can be a lot more fun I always have to say that probably my favorite kind of size would be between sort of a 120 or 240 in it which means it flies really quick and it’s really had John aerobatic the ultra lightnings and all that kind of size the rogue’s all work on 220 leo what has a 220 as well but it’s kind of it to be it’s a very slow airplane that one’s actually gonna be getting sold soon replaced for something a little bit less controversial and a bit faster as well so yeah I’ll probably stick to that kind of size smaller turbines unless you’re going for something like the Oprah’s that we mentioned earlier with a jet cap in 20 the smaller ones tend to be maybe a bit too small there you can’t really push them as far and beyond the 200 size they tend to be kind of a show model to fly every now and again and really enjoy but not something to fly every weekend from scratch or do you buy them fully assembled not sure I understand the question all the models that I build I don’t have a builder I put them together myself if the question relates to actually designing and putting lumps of wood then I have done that in the past many years ago when I was starting out but I like the flying side more than the building side so I do tend to buy almost ready to fly models and then install my own turbine and electronics the exception to that however it’s my collaboration with pilot RC in which many of my ideas have been put into production with the pilot our circuits as was the case with the extra 330 which was partially designed by me we actually changed a lot of the wing design the profiles and in my opinion improved it significantly before the latest versions were released so if you’ve got an extra chances are you’re flying my ring why don’t you go Martin thought on the mb-339 giant-scale that you showed that jet power yes that was the Daniel design mb-339 that plane is absolutely beautiful it’s probably one of the nicer stupid scale question what to call that what the good is the version and I’d say that’s probably one of the nicer really large models that’s out there one of the few the told actually be interested in myself it just flies really well it looks really well and it has a really nice look in the air but basically any of those planes I think look great in the air and I would love to be able to basically Oh store and transport one of them which i think is one of the biggest problems I mean it’s one thing to buy it which in itself is kind of complicated because it’s expensive very expensive any of those planes are but once you receive it that’s where where you kind of have to look whether it’s worth it or not because I’m just fighting on my own here that way basically there’s one thing to order it you can have a big credit card and just go outside yes this is my dream model I want it but you didn’t have to figure out how are you going to get it tuned from the flying field you need a very big man to transport it a very big trailer that would be my case but then you also had a situation of how do you get it into the car out of the car into the trailer or out of the trailer you can’t do a single-handed so it’s one of those models where you can’t fly it every weekend and when you do fly it you have to meet up with some friends have them come over to your house even just moving in your your workshop or your hangar it’s not an easy thing to do so it’s one of those things that I don’t think we’re going to see them become the norm as we did with sort of the 160 size and then the 200 size turbines which a large but you can still transport them and move them about yourself without need to the receiver that way we’re equaling out the weight on one side and another not too much just a little on either side just can’t move making it easily removable in the future hopefully not the case but you never know these small servos can always be a little bit temperamental regardless of brand just a few taps on each one of them yeah we have some nicely secured servos ready to go okay so definitely going to put that close the next video okay let’s attach the motor to the model and then we’re going to be pretty much done we’re ready to go now then the the screws actually poke out the back so those are going to act as well as a bit of a fixing point so dry mount it first making sure to get each one of those screws into the center of its piece of foam push it in market and now we’re gonna have some sign up good ideas well just scratch the surface first just so as it has a better gluing surface for the Steiner after all this is going to be pulling the whole plane and putting it through its paces so we don’t it coming flying off because the glue didn’t hold but normally with these small planes it’s never an issue the motors are powerful for the plane but they’re not powerful enough to break the circuit designer okay sign a good dose of designer because you want to fill in all the gaps of the way you don’t just want to have a little bit you need all those gaps in the foam filling so every single bit of it can be nicely and truly you’ll start hearing the kicker doing this thing wait for a few seconds after it goes quiet and yeah as reset fingers and superglue our best friends now carefully extra around the edges you don’t go too crazy because you can run sino down the back of the motor which will of course either destroy the motor or limit its power because it’s having to fight not only against the rock and the wings but against all the birds inside as well so just being careful just there any tips on just to make sure everything’s exactly I’m secure yeah we could basically fly it now just need to attach the receiver and blending it what’s that one saying what do you use for wire management in foamies I tend to use cyano just to keep the wires neat and tidy in larger models I tend to use a trick that was in one of my previous videos last weeks I think it was Tuesday which was just wrapping a little bit of tape around it and a drop of sino and it’s a nice lightweight what I need to keep the wires in place secure and going where you want it what’s up bro hello earth one of the guys from my video challenge welcome thanks for joining thoughts on the Hulu CC pilot extra keen on picking one up it flies really really well idea however if you can pick up laser my opinion is ad applies even better than the extra they that the way mr. throws I mean when I give it a thought I receive upon Tom you just built the GB laser today good good plane as well yeah get a video on Facebook what’s my personal favorite 3d aggressive plane and 3d old-school playing old school claim I think my favorite one would have to be the pilot RC 100 planet I’ve seen 100 cc s batch it’s just one of those planes that it’s not super aggressive it’s not super fast but it is super fun it’s just like picking up an old friends you you just know how it flies do you know how it rolls it’s not going to try and do anything nasty it just flies the way you want it to just don’t expect it to roll super quick or tumble super quick because it has a very big called very big wing and it’s just that slow that friend this was a little bit slower than the others but you have a lower lash width as far as the most aggressive one I would say that pilot RC laser it without a doubt the most aggressive most fun undersea seaplane out there today and I have flown pretty much every brand and every model out there pole dancing laser without a doubt the C scale you sound like a very good fan thank you thank you for joining us Rory probably agreed with me pilot RC blazer is the plane to beat and hopefully pilot RC has done that with their slick was will see tunnel tell see Martin would you like the mb-339 or the giant hawk now I think everyone loves the hawk it’s just one of those emblematic planes however I think given the choice I would prefer the giant angry 339 it just it’s got something for some reason I just prefer that design hello Thailand we’ve got beautiful nice name anyway let’s get this thing finished we’re almost there we just need a landing gear basically now then landing gear yes we have the side planks as well we need to have these sort of semi SF GS on there so I force generators as well need to get a nice blue dot now that it’s like the landing gear is actually flat carbon I’m missing a party yes of course see this is why we follow the instructions because otherwise you forget best okay so there’s a small plastic piece that goes in the middle which increases the surface area like that I mean now join in the carbon one on either side which then attach themselves to that piece of plastic meaning that the force is distributed more and we’re not going to rip the landing gear out on our first landing clever ideas by the guys at RC factory to make sure it’s straight looks like it is okay sigh yeah kik-kik that way it dribbles all the way through from one side to the other and it increases that even further to my table trying see normally when I build these things I have a cloth over the table however for you guys just for you guys I figured I’d use the table it looks nicer it’s all part of the elegance of YouTube right okay so now we have these rather unusual shaped wheels which just slide over here like that and gets I know in place as well so let’s just cut off there the wheel pants got to have wheel paps any plane without wheel bounce isn’t a plane unless it’s an airliner okay okay actually going to glue these onto here first make sure not to glue them both on to the same side of this best that would be C although I sure wouldn’t be the first one or the left again actually hot why does sino get hot it’s not fair it sticks to your fingers hang gets hot okay sign it off with my finger what does anyone saying real pants are always the first thing I brake on small farmers I agree but then they can just be the first thing that you glue back up they they just do make the plane look so much nicer you know I hate them okay we’ll use a plate this time so always keep it in place rather than a finger makes more sense well we go we should do a team pilot RC slot at Western Park sounds good hopefully we can get to Western Park that’s going to be an October this year I believe hopefully by then this whole situation is going to be a lot easier and we’re all then being able to travel but we can get there if not 2021 is going to be there for sure crunchy you like the S patch 150 C hundred fifty CC of pilot RC you just like playing it it is a great plane the hundred and fifty CC plane I found was a little bit too slow I mean the S batch is slow three means of planes are always slow at the two together and you have a very slow but that said it still is a great fun slow 3d plane and I had a lot of fun with it back in the day yes you’ve designed a brand new plane it’s called revenge 3d coming soon dude thank me in the post in facebook I want to say it Raquelle would like to be able to repair with glue as well helicopters yes um well I’ve seen what the helicopters look like after an incident but we can try it we can try we have our good friend the video whose nickname is mr. glue so you never know matter Sam very good to yourself don’t thank yourself jump synchro with the revolution count me in for whatever it is I want to well I won’t be part of it but if I can be part of it the very least I want to see it revolution is I mean the name could not be more appropriate for the model you have to see it search for it in Google go on T on to Facebook find RC skills the revolution is it just something completely different and the model of it out of this world to look in the synchro it is just going to be insane again check it out that’s that voyage aircraft well I also promised a good friend Bert from our vertex that we mentioned that these are available from a crowbar see here in Spain if you’re not in Spain but you’re in most of the rest of Europe well you can always count on aerobatics good friend Bert who has all of these in stock at his online shop so check it out as well our vertex check one of the other anyway let’s get these scientists we’ve got Silas Google down there we go okay so we’ve got to try and get that used to look flat in every directions so just gonna place them on for now see how they look so many over hope they don’t fall off okay Matt then drop the sign of each and we’re coming to the finishing line now just have some wire tagging to do install the receiver propeller oh we have the tail skin as well just go to the back so just cut that excess off the blade okay more sign out okay and as we saw a man will just glue that onto the back wait for there to do its thing wait-wait-wait important part we’re missing you’ve got to cut these bits out because we have power son s FG s the small side force generators that go on the side here which are going to help us in every kind of knife edge position and every time we use or need to use rudder record boys what am i building this is a RC factory crack yak mini it’s a small plane to have fun with in the garden which based on what I’ve seen and past experience I would say I recommend to anyone who has a garden and it’s locked in at home in the moment which is basically the whole place should be using the manual for this but we’ve got this far so we can figure it out right so we have the big one closest to the fuselage make sense looking good sign up where’s my bottle sir now that looks like a fun plane crack yak just sounds fun it is if it’s anything at all like the bigger version that we have here it’s going to be absolutely brilliant and I can’t wait for this evening when the wind drops because I can hear it’s blowing absolute game outside hopefully if it drops we’ll be able to try it we’ll get some video at you guys really really soon okay the other side done as well I’ll do the same Martin have I ever found helicopters dude you late we’ve been but we’ve been there yes two or three years ago I gave up after trying it for two years had a lot of fun we learned a lot of stuff come 3d but didn’t have enough time to stick to both helis and planes and jets and everything else has to go through doing at the time so I now leave the helicopters to Raquel who can do it but darn sight better than me anyway okay Rory thanks for joining us sorry you gotta go brand new CPCC gamebird looks very sweet anybody seen it yes it is anything like the full size it’ll be very nice nice to see a different design I mean yes it’s kind of a v2s batch but it’s the more it’s the aggressive brother to the S batch do I still have my multiplex don’t master yes I don’t know yes and no no I don’t have multiplex stunt master why would why not well because I have two they’re currently sitting over there one of them is really bashed up and one of them is almost new unfortunately I need to change the batteries on them the ones that I have are now years old they’re doing me well but they’re starting to show their age so I’ll be needing to replace those batteries and then the stunt masters will be going back up in the air but well with this one this one and now this one at the moment I mean no at all because these three together whole lotta fun guaranteed okay get some more blue it’s surprising just how much sign how you use to build such a small plane but it’s worth it it’s a whole lot of fun later on the fumes as always how many airplanes do I have in my possession not enough you can always have more airplanes the only problem that you have is storing them all but now being more serious I don’t actually have all that many planes however I do enjoy flying to the limit all the ones that I do have currently I have sitting behind me my pilot RC laser the new one the black and yellow normally sitting here the moment on the workbench is the SAE beam lizard the 3d jet time building video on that we’ve got one video out already go check it out the second video in that series is coming out probably around middle twin the next week I have my Leonardo which is going to be going soon that one’s currently on sale and then the J ten which I won’t even moved from here for today’s video so I have a bit more space currently sitting over there and those are basically my planes I then have a few foamies obviously I have these three foamies I have two stunt masters I have a couple of racing drones and a couple of discus launch glider but more small stuff large planes at the moment really I have just these four okay see we have it’s time to feel feeling widget clip off the excess carbon we don’t need we don’t want it poking holes into whatever around it it’s never a good idea you can do the same on this side just snip off any excess as we now know we’ve got it centered working right now the servers are all screwed tied up in place would not have tighten up all those screws that keep it in place like that one there so elevator let’s just do the same they’re all tight so it’s all looking good just need to disconnect this we can now start thinking about wiring our receiver in so let’s channel number four we have elevators right next to it that one can go into channel 3 we have our red ones as channel number 2 you can tell you supply for Tyler jr. right no elevator in that order now I’m gonna install the speed controller on the opposite side to the receiver just to balance it out a little bit normally I would glue this down but I want to just test exactly where the CG needs to be after all the live post we really using as we mentioned earlier normally I always use octave power batteries after trying loads of different brands and price ranges I found that they are the most reliable when it comes to providing the power that they specify on the pack most brands promise a million C discharge rate and then just don’t provide the power on this occasion however as it’s such a small plane opti don’t do such small packs the smallest 2s pack is a 430 which is what I use in the bigger brother so for this one when I said that we’re using the RC factory combo equipment I really meant it we’re even using the batteries which a rather huge wind shape they’re very long very thin but they’re two hundred and 60 milliamps 2s and we’ll just have to find out how much power they have in them hopefully I mean everything else with all my other combos have always worked perfectly well directly from RC factory there’s no reason why they should be any different let’s see so we need to get the wire from the throttle across to the other side so we can get it on to the receiver so positive views allow swear I didn’t so just don’t look I’ll also be going over the whole airplane before flying it just to make sure well as I am doing this while filming a video just make sure that I haven’t messed up anything too serious before committing it to flight okay so now slot back through the hole we just cut through have it arrived at our she’s now dangling but it’s pretty much we need our drop we don’t need any of the washes that came with it as it seems to fit nicely onto our motor holes match up the right size no yeah okay now that’s it we have one finished airplane do you think this will be your new favorite foamy ah quite possibly yes but we’ll find out in a video real soon time to go to bed Anita okay thank you for watching mineralogy Trent urban tried didn’t work out hmm I need to go back up I think in the comments Martin would you buy what kind of turbine helicopter and Raquel isn’t missing out on the tour one heli as well um we have actually talked about this if I kill however isn’t massively into the turbine helicopter scene as what she likes doing is going absolutely nuts a bit like I do with my airplanes and really you need the electric power for that because it just has that punch out turbine helicopters and more kind of scale orientated and 3d isn’t really that thing the power is a little bit slow it’s a little bit irregular I’ll see you in forma thank you for the build my pleasure Mack thank you for watching twin turbine mythology okay when you first picked up the transmitter was it the natural thing because it looks so easy for you like some gifted on the guitar no that’s a very good question Vancouver man the the thing with me and flying is that I have always enjoyed it almost too much it has never been something that comes easily for me to give you an idea when I started flying with my trainer I would go flying every single weekend every Sunday sometimes Saturday as well I would do two three or four flights per day and I would train on the simulator throughout the week now it took me practically a year from starting to being able to take off fly around and land on my own so now I don’t believe that what I have is a god-given talent it’s something that I have worked hard at for no other reason but I simply love doing what I do I absolutely love the idea of flying more planes I love the feeling of flying model planes and I’ve spent way too long and way too much money both practicing flying building and everything RC planes so now it wasn’t natural but it wasn’t hard either because I’ve always enjoyed the whole process as we went through passion as I mentioned by Trevor indeed it’s something that if I didn’t do this I would be lost I wouldn’t know what I would be doing but I’m the kind of guy who needs to be doing something I’m not able to sit back relax and watch the telly for too long so this this just fills and ticks all of my boxes okay now the one last thing is not going to say before closing off I think really is this plane doesn’t look completely finished and landed and you’d be right now the speed controllers dangling and the receivers dangling and we don’t have location for the battery either you’re not to mention of course that we still need to add expose double check that everything works in the right direction and so on and so forth the reason why I’m leaving everything like I will actually fly it not quite like that but almost what I will be doing is I’ll be using masking tape just to temporarily tape all the components where they seem that they should go both the receiver the speed controller and the battery I will then fly the plane with those things held on with masking tape that means that I can test it I can find the right CG forwards backwards or out running it once I’m happy with the CG having moved the battery a bit further forwards or bit further backwards depending on how it feels always using masking tape I will then find the exact location once I have that location then and only then will I proceed to glue my receiver in place my speed controller in place and I will cut a hole for my battery in the side of the fuselage so I can simply slide it through in its correct location I don’t want to make any holes or glue anything in place until I’ve tried it because if I need to move everything forwards or backwards then you’ve got to do more holes so a little bit of masking tape just make sure everything’s in the right place and then just do everything and cut holes just the ones so last look at the chat before signing off for today so record boys you try and fly every day that is the best recommendation I can give anyone who wants to improve on flying and I will admit that this is something that even I have been lacking in lately basically I’m spending a little bit too much time doing the videos of you guys working in here and sadly the day job is taking up a lot of time I tried to fly whenever it come outside but this year has been diabolical and simulator I do fly but not as much as I oh in an ideal world if I had a bit more time I would definitely be flying every day more and more model airplane your building in Learjet 55 that is a very nice play good luck with that Trevor what is my day job we mentioned this earlier on in the video I have a normal day job just like everyone else this is just my hobby even though I take the hobby to the extreme it is actually taken all of my holidays basically to travel the world but I absolutely love it my day job is I work in the mayor’s office called Eric advisors it’s one of the largest mayor’s offices here on this coast of Spain and we deal with basically everything to do with being legal in Spain with property ownership so buying selling inheriting mortgages and taxes got us firmly on the head of the financial department within the company and I have power of attorney full of company meaning I spend most of the day out by the negotiating signing or dealing with banks so a very different world to the one that you all see me in but very interesting and fun world as well I also have to say I’m very fortunate that my bosses are very good with me and they both understand why I take the holiday that I do on the occasions that I do and why I take it so split up throughout the year and they actually have an interest in what I’m doing so that is I can’t express how much how important that is for you to get on with your bosses at your place of work let them know what it is that you’re doing not that you’re just taking a holiday because you want a holiday explain to them what you’re doing get them interested and when you are there work darn hard if you do all that they’ll have no issues with granting your holidays Carlos thank you from thank you for joining us hello right back at you all the way to Florida thank you for joining us reckon boys yes definitely different fields it means you have a complete disconnect from at work from flying and flying from work first you’ve put me in the top four pilots thank you very much my friend what features do you think make a great RC club field that’s another good question I would say that first and foremost it has to be open expansive land I think it doesn’t matter whether the one way is tarmac gravel grass or carpet as is my flying field what’s important is that freedom to fly I’ve flown in many places where you’re surrounded by trees power lines houses in a distance and other objects that you must avoid and even though they can be fun from a one-off show in the location that’s going to be the case of Western Park where we all enjoy flying in through behind the trees for your regular flying field you want somewhere that you can concentrate on the actual flying so big vast open areas would be the number one ask for me after that a nice runway somewhere to store or work on the models ideally in the shade is also a bonus but definitely number one would have to be open expanses you then have crazy flying fields like in Chile or in Brazil catch the event where they’ve just gone to an extreme they’ve made have that some well wonder whenever I develop this idea because I’m gonna start yeah our lungs Trevor it’s amazing how much you’ve achieved in Annecy considering it’s still your hobby showing those them with passion anything is possible thank you yes I’m a firm believer that if you want something and you enjoy it and you work hard you can go a long way yes I’ve lost out on sleep some parties and some friends but it’s something that I enjoy doing so much as I’m okay with that Colleen sadly to your PC too late and didn’t see a stream but you’re building in us it just D f/16 very nice plane don’t worry the whole video is going to be available as soon as we finish this as a standard video it could be a long video but hopefully everyone’s enjoyed it okay guys girls I think I’m gonna call it thank you all massively so much for joining me while building my RC factory crack yak leavers are like it really helps and leave us a comment in the comments below again it helps for YouTube and it helped me do what we do subscribe to the channel if you aren’t already we upload regularly both flying events cool tips tricks tutorials you name it if it’s fun and if it’s RC related chances are you’ll find it either already uploaded on the channel or coming soon so once again really big thank you for everyone who’s joined us in this live stream make sure to come back soon from the video of the test flights of this actual plane and on with more like the edge which is coming the video is coming soon we’ve got the lizard video coming out next week cool tech tips tutorials loads of great stuff thank you all for watching see you all soon
