– Pneu. Radbremsen für die Abnahme in der Schweiz ein muss … Original hatte keine.
– Pilotenkopf von Wladimir beweglich mit Seitenruder-Servo
– Smoker
– Fahrwerk: Eigenbau Pneum.
Bauzeit: ca. 500 Std. (komp. Holzbau)

The polikarpov is one of the most rugged looking warbirds ever built. Looks like a flying tank. Also, a Beautiful RC model and flying

Interesting aircraft. Looks very similar to the geometry of a Gee Bee.
What a beautiful sound! I am just an old motorcycle enthusiast, with an interest in aviation, but, how could any motorhead not like the sound of this radial engine. And, bravo for a sweet landing and good flying!
Auch wenn ich dem modellbauerischen 'Größenwahn' … eher skeptisch gegenüberstehe .. dieses Flugzeug (denn es ist eins) anzuschauen . war ein Seh- und Hörvergnügen 🙂

Все-таки И-16 красивый самолет, во всяком случае не похожий ни на какой в 30-е годы просто он опередил свое время и залетел в другое. А маневренность просто как у мухи! Как-то он запал в сердце.
To this I16 the name of "RATA" does not benefit him well since that name was given in Spain during the civil war, by the aviators of the rebel side.
The aviators of the republican side called him "Mosca"

Radial motor ?! Wow ! I'm not an aircraft Modeler , but I've seen single-cylinder micro-engines engines. Is there a radial here ? I wonder if this is a factory or homemade engine? Anyway, great job ! (in the ' 80s, the radio- controlled model was cool)
