very nice work, I'm just wondering if it's not a little bit slow for an engine failure
See people like to see this stuff ?
Really heavy duty!
Gorgeous! That provides a very strong / slop free link I think.. It is a little slow, but I'd prefer that over to fast 🙂
Cheers & have a good weekend!
that mud on the bottom gives it classic character
Nice touch to the insight of how the gear works . Hope it didn't get to wet when he taxied back in on the other video when he hit that bit of hidden water In the grass . Thanks for that unusual vid and God Bless .
WOW! That is a very slow movement! Let's hope you never have to get the gear down in a hurry! Thanks Horst. Cheers, Dougal
Haha, I was actually curious about the landing gear on the plane from the other video. Thanks for showing it!
Ahh – per your later on this page reply Horst – electric motor and Archimedian screw. Thought it had that sound. Great video shot.
Surprising how commercial planes employ screw threads still.
That is COOL! You can even spy the shaft moving. Anyone ever fly in a modern jet? Does not the gear retracting make a lot of noise! C'mon people, stop being so critical of an scratch built a/c that someone has put his heart and soul into and just enjoy the talent of the project! Great catch on this vid Horst! You always find something new to pick up on!
Nice tight fit! Great camera work too!
Very cool, thanks for sharing Horst!
Thumbs up!
How do those work, I never really thought about it. Are they pneumatic or is their like a motor driving them?
Cool, Thank's Horst !
Bonjour Horst,
Knapp aber es geht ;+)
Ich finden auch es dauert lange, immer so ?
Freundliche Grüsse & schöne Wochenende, Christian.
makes an awful noise and is very slow. not a desirable scale feature.
