Dom.E have build this Prototype of the Virgin Galactic Spaceship two. He have all Handmade. Now was the second Test Flight of the Spaceship two. Next step is, he build the White Knight two. Enjoy it….

Wingspan 80cm
Length 170cm (scale 1:10).
Weight is 4 Kilo
Turbine is a Xicoy X-45.

And while on the topic, do you have any plans to deploy “feathering mode“ on spaceshiptwo? Would be fun to see you take it up super high, feather it down…

  4. I wish they would make a kit for that if they haven't. It's just something different and looks really monoverable. Nicely done and great video.

  6. In Germany they engineer models like this. In the UK the engineering comes out of a big box from China. Still, it's all about flying isn't it? Pass me that foamie.

  12. Thaks for producing this wonderful video!
    I am pretty happy with the first results. As expected the plane is a bit nervous on roll and a bit slow on pitch input. CG seems to be ok now. It was extremely noseheavy at the first testflight and it nearly came to a disaster because even with full elevator the plane would not climb properly.
    A gyro would for sure help to make the flights a lot smoother but for some testflights I want to feel the plane without electronic stabilizers.
    Wingspan ist 80cm, total length 170cm (scale 1:10). Weight is 4 kilo, the turbine is a Xicoy X-45.
    After some more testflights I will finish the paint job and then continue building its carrier, White Knight II with a Wingspan of 420cm.
