2. Excellent videography! As for these sailplanes with turbines, acting like jets with long slender wings, get a freakin Jet; you all are great pilots…but a sailplane is just that! I just installed a retractable EDF in my 1/3.75, 4 meter ASW28, not so I could go show off at the latest jet meet or sailplane event, but so that I could self launch my glider since aero tows and nice slopes are hard to find in my local. And it was inexpensive, getting a 700 dollar Jetec 80, compared to some 3000 dollar turbine, not bolting it obscenely to such a beautiful fuselage,, and being able to retract it and experience pure silent flight! Also, I can avoid landing out, or waiting months and even years, to fly my sailplane. It’s sad to see such beautiful sailplanes thrown around the sky like some RC F-16s that I can see and admire on other posts. Launch em with whatever you want, but, c’mon, fly em silent! By the way, unassisted aerobatics, are way more impressive!

   Es gibt genügend Jets, zu denen diese Geschwindigkeit besser passt.
   Mein Fall ist das nicht.
   Eigenstartfähig zu sein ist klasse, mit Impeller oder Propeller, zum ein- und ausfahren.
   Aber, jedem das seine.
