Not bad for a maiden. Shit happens mate.
Great videography, poor piloting! I’ve done aerotows with less a floatable sailplane than this one, these old timers are real floaters. That takeoff behind the tow plane was squirrelly at best, he did the right thing by popping off the tow. But that landing, with such a nice approach to go into the brush, that I didn’t understand, a lack of situational awareness and or control and experience.
