I am pleased that my grandfather's work is still appreciated today.
My grandfather, born in Ústí nad Labem, worked as a technician at Siebelwerke on the outskirts of Halle an der Saale in the 1940s. My mother still has a framed photo of a Si-204 and a small all-metal model. My grandfather is said to have received these as an award. Too bad I didn't get to know him, he died before I was born.

Howdy from Texas. One of my favorite planes from WW2. I was a model builder since I was 7. I had fun building a 1/72 scale model of this bird. Beautiful.
