no we did that one last year it’s your turn this time there you go we’re back at rotor live let’s see what’s [Music] new that’s it oh so we know that om Mardo and a load of others have got new products to display but first we have to go find someone we have to go find my brand new sponsor CH Servo and a little bird he’s told me that the just R the corner nervous that’s a see of red no way good to see you to see you I don’t quite fit in yet but I think Walter’s got something which is going to fix that right right right I think it’s getting cold tonight oh yeah for nice need to be red yes exactly it fit looks good there we go dude red suits you okay so looks like you nice we’re officially red we’re officially a team as far as helicopters with Mardo we’ve got three new models here this year so contrary to what they previously St in a couple of years ago they’ve made a comeback and they’ve got back into the model scene not just the radios they’ve brought out the new logo 200 basically the same one they had before but now with a new Evo mini inside so different fly barus with the new V8 software which apparently makes it just so much smoother and better we’ve got a brand new helicopter the 580 we’ll more get more on that in a minute but one everyone’s talking about the brand new updated Logo 700 what have they done number one they’ve got ridden of all this that meant they’ve had to reinforce the chassis over here and the one thing that everyone was asking for they’ve made the shaft shorter making it much more agile much more in line with the rest of helicopters that are here today and all that has been applied to the new 580 as well so again short shaft and no tensioners with Mardo they’ve also brought out an update for the ever popular vbar radio basically they’ve updated the gimbals which not only have better precision and smoothness the radio now comes with five or six different options of feel for the radio so whether you’re an ultimate 3D pilot where you want the most crisp Fast Response possible or whether you’re learning and you want a smooth slightly gentler response you can now do that in the radio and apparently it really works last year Mikado set up this indoor flying area which was awesome watching all their pilots fly the logo 200 this year though they’ve stared the spot both with om and gusi so we’ve got pretty much continuous flying all day and the crowd absolutely loves it and the pilots they’re not just hovering in there they’re doing full-on 3D routines it’s insane over here at GOI or ghost guy however you say it we’ got two new helicopters the RS5 and the RS6 it’s basically the same helicopter in fact it shares pretty much all the same Parts the main difference only being the fact that obviously one is a 550 size heli and the other is a 600 effectively it’s the same heli just with a longer tube obviously a different belt and then the size of lipo that you’re going to use in it so this will normally run on a 6 to 8s whereas this one normally you’re going to still run on a 12s pack and then rather interestingly the S2 that they already had last year has also got an update it’s basically the exact same helicopter as it was before but it’s now got extra stabilization and GPS allowing you for a return home Auto takeoff Auto Landing all very much DJI is pack with vario they’ve obviously got all their massive scale helies but this one has earned my heart the beautiful red candy color scheme on this Eurocopter looks absolutely spectacular especially when the Sun hits it just like at jet power we’ve got our friends from alter bound premium helicopter with again some awesome large big scale helicopters with all their amazing scale parts and accessories now I can’t help but steal a go on a blimp I’ve never ever flown a blimp and it’s my first flight at Rota live and there are people watching so what can go [Music] wrong no pressure don’t crash into CH YY so I think I want one of course I do and I think it needs to be read just like CH anyway let’s get back to the show so Raquel’s Soo stand has grown massively this year nice big bright stand and they’ve got a new helicopter should we call it a new helicopter they’ve brought out what they’re calling a limited edition basically it’s the same as their standard 7.1 heli so still 700 basically all the same mechanics however there’s only 50 units it’s got a new canopy C scheme it’s got different sides on the chassis it’s got rid of the Top Fin here it’s got a new fin at the back but there’s only 50 of them so if you want one act quick over at hobbywing I’m not going to go inside because it’s extremely dark in there but they’ve got two things that catch everyone’s eye one of them is this speed controller which not only is it massive it’s for 96s lipo so that’s 400 something volts apparently that’s used for massive drones normally tethered drones where you’ve got a generator at the bottom running up 400 volts and this is the speed controller for the motors on the Drone and then even though it may not seem it this is for a smaller drone that would be one arm of the Drone one motor on top one motor on the bottom doing something like 110 120 kilos of thrust just this part and I’m guessing that that’s going to be the prop so again one on top one on bottom and I’m trying not to drop this cuz it’s extremely heavy we’re here at OMP where they’ve got two brand new helicopters the M5 and the m6 effectively they’re mostly the same helicopter with just some minor variations so you can have a larger or smaller version that means that many of the spare parts can be swapped out between them basically the gear ratio Chang es so the gear is bigger the M5 can use either medium or standard size servos whereas the m6 is prepared only for standard size servos obviously we’ve got the different length tube and the belt inside and just like we’ve seen a minute ago we’ve got this new shape on the bottom of the uh chassis which seems to be everywhere this year obviously don’t need that bottom crossbar makes it lighter and it makes it look nicer we’ve also got here the brand new M2 Evo Mark I which I actually have one at home which I’m finishing the video for as we speak so around about the same time that this video comes out I’ll be having my video on the latest version of the M2 with all new electronics inside better dampening for vibrations and a bigger motor stay tuned for that one everyone’s bringing out new helicopters this year Tron has brought out their 5.5 which is most noticeable for the canopy design which has got a lot of straight lines as opposed to the usual curves that we’re used to seeing everywhere definitely looks interesting and then over here we’ve got the same kind of thought process and design going into their new 7.0 700 size heli over here at Sab they don’t have their new release yet it’s not quite there yet however they have confirmed that they have a new helicopter coming this time it’s the ill Goblin 520 so very much the same kind of design as the big ill Goblin 700 in a smaller size look forward to seeing that one because the guys at Sab always knock it out the park over here at the ego drift stand they’ve got something that we recognize this is the Razer Don Apache which I do like myself a good Apache and this one I actually have one sitting at home in process of doing a video review so I have seen this one before haven’t flown it yet look forward to doing that make sure to subscribe to the channel if you want to see the full video on the Apache here at ponic we’ve got some new speed controllers they’re very much the same size as before so we’ve still got the 170 and the 250 however the back that’s inside them is what’s new usually you have 8.4 Volts for a high voltage system however these ones can go all the way to 12 volts allowing the use of latest generation 12vt servos so you can choose whether you want 8.4 or 12vt depending on what servos you’re going to use just adds that little bit extra flexibility for your model as you probably saw in hopefully my previous video uh I’ve moved over to both powerbox and Cha servos now uh they have a load of different types of Servo beyond what we normally sort of used to you got the super high voltage servos that run with the powerbox competition shv you’ve got a load of low profile flat servos servos that mount both from the top from the Sid and even without mounting brackets which still blows my brain but and you even got super low voltage servos for the dgs and that kind of stuff except one on a 1s lipo exactly yeah yeah and some and and someone here is going to show me how to continue learning my dlg right yes right right we’ve got that on camera so you’ve also got a couple of new servos though I think as well exactly it’s actually yeah it’s actually still in a digital form so this comes as our wellknown 4613 which we recently gave away in a giveaway on Instagram social media and these are being developed with two new gear settings to make them even quicker than they already are yeah nice just maybe a quick example for where the name comes from cuz people are sometimes struggling this actually says the kilos and the time so this one has a 46 kilo with a a13 time on it yeah yeah and but you’ve got one coming which especially for the people here at this particular Fair helicopters is going to be amazing 205 So based on on those specs that’s going to be a 20 kilo Servo the 05 005 so that’s about as quick as any Servo that these guys use except double the torque with the same speed exactly exactly yeah we want to winner we have a 50 m c HV 150s it’s uh 50 mm uh and it’s very fast yeah so uh 0.05 seconds so we’ve also got this one which is smaller this one’s smaller than the new or mm so this is this is the current fast Servo 005 put 15 kilo and we’ve got this one coming which is bigger and stronger exactly look forward to it and that’s root
