one small remark i just got from the flight leaders here is that we ask all the pilots to make sure to put yourself in the pilot box as much as possible especially when multiple pilots are going to fly together and please put yourself together with the pilot box like what’s up during the final briefing this morning [Applause] [Music] ladies and gentlemen the next one is the piper the clipped wing version and you would expect ladies and gentlemen this to be a very nice small and slow airplane and you can see it indeed that at this moment he’s taking up with the big wheels the bushwheel as you can see more than only slow flight this will be a full aerobatic flight done from germany and you would expect indeed that a viper cup is flying slowly to enjoy the flights but please keep your eyes on it at the big bill handful clipped wing fighter club with a stupid engine if you ask me a dle 170 himself no that’s not the case this is a bill hampel airplane and he’s a so-called arf version so almost ready to fly which means you can literally get it out of the box put your own servos yours your own engine and everything in it and then start flying after a few hours of building and bill hempel is a very well known brand in in the usa building very nice airplanes like this 40 [Music] [Applause] so 40 of the real size ladies and gentlemen which results in a span of 3 meters and 70 centimeters with a weight of about 20 kilos [Applause] and you can see that the engine really has infinite power as the model is normally for seen for a 100 cc a 100 cc engine and so if you have a 170 cc engine in it then you have the power to pull it up as far as you want and even though the flipped wing fighter cup in real life is already quite aerobatic our friend nicholas here is doing some uh some stunts with it that i would not advise you to do in a real airplane and for example you will never see this with a real airplane hovering the fighter jump with smoke [Music] almost touching the ground give him a bigger blast ladies and gentlemen [Music] look how steady the things [Music] of course we need to be honest it is possible that the puzzle has a gyro on board which means that even though the pilot still needs to steer it is possible that the plane is kept quite steady in a movement like this [Applause] for the people that don’t know what it is on the same level [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] flying this kind of airplanes i know that quite some people having one of those kill hunter planes only flies with a minimal aerobatics not as much as we see by nikolas today but yeah that’s your own uh choice of course how you fly the plane [Applause] the thing is that i know that the bill hempel airplanes are most of the times built very lightly and now the plane is behind the tree so i hope everything is going good yep there it is again so the build hamper planes are built very light which results in a lot of wood and so on a lot of holes in it making it also sometimes of course more breakable and if you put all those powers in with a very big engine like this dle 170 then uh sometimes it can result after a few years in some uh breakages look at it fly in the below the ground at this moment i hope he checked the the place already yesterday evening [Music] [Applause] and if uh he does the same as yesterday it will also result probably at this moment he’s going up so i think he will switch off the engine i think and look at the fog you can’t almost see the plane anymore so i think the engine has been switched off so it’s that stick at this moment coming down in a small v and then pushing it down making some speed putting in in a small loop at the last moment look at this and then now pull up make a half roll get it into a slip lose some speed and put it down and give it give nikolas a big applause for this very nice landing thank you very much nicholas well done just give me goosebumps mate [Applause]
