Yes, hello and welcome to a new video from me. Today I have another Use MD500 from Flightsone for you, and not just any model, but as you can see, the Hawaii or Magnumvion. After the small version, there is now also a large version. Of course, this one is RTF with everything that goes with it. I have already introduced you to the large MD500 from Flightzone in the yellow version. It is in the background here, so I will not go into the remote control and all the functions here. They are completely identical. You can see them in this video. The package contents are also completely identical. So I will give you a quick overview of what is included so as not to make the video unnecessarily long. And this time we’ll start straight away with a closer look at the new Hawaii version. And after that, of course, we’ll go flying outside. Have fun. Let’s go. Here we have the large Magnumvion of the MD500 in front of us. I’ve already screwed on the landing gear and plugged in the small antenna. You should also glue that in if you want to leave it on permanently. As I said at the beginning, this is actually exactly the same version as the yellow one, with only one difference: the used one has the rounded nose, while the yellow version had the pointed nose. This means that we have an MD500D, and the yellow one was an MD500E. The same applies to the small Magnumvion we already presented. That was also the version with the pointed nose, also an MD500E. This means that this time we have the exact same model type as in the TV series. That one also had a rounded nose at the front. Otherwise, as I said, everything is exactly the same as the yellow version. We’ve also got lots of nice rivets and contours distributed across the fuselage and tail boom. The landing gear is also very nicely made and has a few molded rivets. The same goes for the rear tightwork, which is also beautifully detailed and also features rivets. We’ve once again installed both brushed motors as powertrain, with the main motor driving the main rotor via a pinion gear connection, and the tail motor directly driving the tail rotor. Fortunately, this is also located on the correct left side in the direction of flight. We’ve also installed a five-blade main rotor head. This is made of plastic, while the swashplate, main rotor shaft, and rotor head centerpiece are made of metal. The swashplate is also controlled by three micro servos. On the underside of the Magnumvion, there’s also an optical altitude sensor, which should make maintaining altitude a bit easier. The discs are completely black here, which I think fits the color scheme very well. The front fuselage canopy can also be easily removed. Underneath is the control board with all the electronics and an off switch, and underneath, of course, we also have the battery compartment. Here, you can simply insert the Sipo hardcase all the way in and then secure it with the lever on the hardcase. We’ve also added some lighting here: the bright landing light at the front and a red LED at the very back of the tail boom. Unfortunately, we don’t have any more lighting here. The paintwork and lettering are also very nicely finished. This time we’ve used a slightly matte finish. I think the model was painted glossy in the series, but otherwise, I think the paint job is very close to the original. The MD500 has a rotor diameter of 320 mm, a length of 330 mm, and a takeoff weight of approximately 240 g. Now I’ll show you a few more shots of the turntable, and then we’ll go flying. M. เฮ Ah. Here, at the end, a really short summary. Visually, another very nice model, also in terms of size, in my opinion—not too big and not too small. Lots of nice details. we have here. I also think the small rod antenna here at the front is really cool. And I also think it’s really cool that we now have the rounded nose here at the front, like the original Magnum version . The small version doesn’t have that. In terms of flying, it flies really well, just like the yellow version. Very stable and quiet, so it’s also quite good for beginners. Suitable, I’d say. Wind is obviously something the smaller models don’t like so much. I would rather fly on calm days. It’s just more fun and looks nicer in flight. I do n’t think there’s much more to say than a brief summary. As always, the link to the helicopter and a discount code are in the video description below. Feel free to write in the comments what you think of the Hawaii version. Are you more of a Team Yellow or Team Magnum, or do you even think the smaller MD500 is better? If you liked the video, please give me a like. Feel free to subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss any more videos. All that’s left for me to say is, thank you for watching, and hopefully we’ll see you again in the next video. See you then, Chrissi. Ciao.

  1. Hey. Habe beide Versionen, E und D. Leider ist keiner der Beiden der Originale aus der Serie mit Tom Selleck, da dieser Helikopter die runde Nase aber nur 4 Rotorblätter hatte. Aber, was soll's. Trotzdem tolles Teil.
