Scary take off during the maiden flight of my FMS P-47D Razorback “Bonnie” 42-27884 460th Fighter Squadron, 348th Fighter Group, Philippines, December 1944.

CG90-95mm
With 6S 5000mah GensAce, Admiral : CG95mm
With 6S 5000mah HRB : CG90mm
NO FLAPS for taxing and takeoff to keep that tail wheel in the ground!
High: aile 16, elev 18, rud 30mm
Low : aile 12, elev 14, rud 22mm (I didn’t apply these lows for my maiden but you will need lots of rudder so 22mm is good!)
Flaps : -15mm (1mm down elevator)
-40mm (3mm down elevator)
8 minutes motor flight time and 3.8V at the end!!!
!!! Keep 30/40% throttle to land and be prepared to kick right rudder when power up (takeoff and in the air) because that big prop is pulling hard to the left…

I put ailerons to 125% on mine to get a better roll rate.
Hi, when you say mix flaps with elevator down, do you means stick elevator down (up nose) or really down elevator (up stick)?
