Endlich ist es soweit, SIKU CONTROL lässt sich jetzt auch mit einem Game-Controller steuern!
Wie das funktioniert, zeige ich euch in diesem Video. Das App update gubts es natürlich für IOS und Android.

Yes, hello and welcome to a new video from me. Did you know that with the new Sequ Control app update you can now control the Sequ Control models with a normal Bluetooth game controller? No, yes you can. And the best thing is, it’s really simple and easy. In this video I’ll show you exactly what you have to do and how you can control the models using an Xbox controller as an example . There might even be something to win at the end, so be sure to stay tuned. Let’s go. Yes, as I said, connecting the controller really is very simple. I have a new Xbox controller here now. But you can also use any other Bluetooth controller that can be paired with a smartphone. With the Xbox controller you just have to turn the controller on and put it into pairing mode. To do this you have to press the button here. Then of course turn on Bluetooth on your phone and let it search for new devices. The controller will then appear here and now you just have to connect it. That’s it. Now you simply have to open the SIC app and your controller will be automatically recognized, allowing you to use it as an additional control for your models. The app must be at least version 1.3.4 for this to work. Of course, this only works with Bluetooth vehicles like tractors, trucks, buggies, and trailers with electrical functions. This won’t work with 2.4 GHz models. Additionally, the app must always remain open, and your phone must be within Bluetooth range. You can’t use the controller if the app is only running in the background. The advantage, however, is that with models that support sound, you can still hear the sound from your phone. I’m going to show you a list of the controller’s button assignments. You can also pause it if you like. If you forget it so quickly, you can read it at your leisure. But of course, you can also try it all out for yourself. Or if there’s a list on the site, I’ll link it to you in the video description below. I’d say I’ll now show you how to control the various models with the Xbox controller, like the tractors, trucks, and of course the bugger. A quick tip beforehand: if you have force feedback enabled in the app, your phone will vibrate whenever you reach the limits of your control. It’s best to turn it off immediately if you’re using a controller, because otherwise your phone will be buzzing the whole time. That can be really annoying in the long run. You can simply turn it off in the main settings in the app. And now I’d say let’s go driving. Have fun. To move the excavator forward, we have to press the two lower shoulder buttons at the same time . The right button is responsible for the right track and the left button for the left track. This also allows us to steer, and to reverse, we have to press the two upper shoulder buttons. Here, each button is responsible for one side. If we want to turn on the spot, we have to press the buttons crosswise so that one track rotates forward and the other track rotates backward. We rotate the entire excavator structure by moving the left joystick left and right. To return the structure to neutral, we need to press the directional pad to the left. To move the front part of the main arm, we need to move the left joystick up and down. To move the entire arm up and down, we need to move the right joystick up and down. To open and close the bucket, we need to move the right joystick left and right. This allows us to bugger. If we press the left joystick once, we activate the horn. With the A button, we can cycle through the individual lights. And if we press the directional pad to the right, we turn the engine sound on or off. With the truck, we can move forward by pressing the lower right shoulder button. And to To reverse, we have to press the lower left shoulder button. Steering is done via the left joystick. This means that if we move it to the left, the truck goes left, and if we move it to the right, the truck also goes right. We can then use the A button to turn the lights on and off. The X button turns on the left turn signal , the B button turns on the right turn signal, and the Y button turns the flashing lights in the front grille on and off. For example, if you have the low-loader attached, you can drive down the ramp by pressing down on the directional pad, and if you press up on the directional pad, the ramp goes back up. The crawler has the same control functions. This means that we drive forward with the lower right shoulder button and reverse with the lower left shoulder button, and steering is also done via the left joystick. The crawler’s electric rear coupling can be operated with the two upper shoulder buttons. To close, press the upper left shoulder button and to open, press the upper right shoulder button. Here, too, we can switch on the main light with the A button . Here, too, we have a right turn signal with the B button and a left turn signal with the X button. The Y button again activates the flashing lights on the roof. And if you press the directional pad to the right, we can turn the caterpillar’s engine sound on and off. With Marcel Ferguson, we again move forward with the lower right shoulder button and backward with the lower left shoulder button , and of course, steering is again done with the left joystick. We can also turn the lights on and off here with the A button. The front loader also moves forward with the lower right shoulder button and backward with the lower left shoulder button. And of course, steering is again done with the left joystick. We again switch the light function with the A button. We again activate the flashing lights on the roof with the Y button. Here, too, we have a right turn signal with the B button and a left turn signal with the X button. Here, too, we can operate the electric rear coupling using the upper shoulder buttons. We can operate the front loader’s bucket with the right joystick by moving it to the right or left. If we move the right joystick up or down, we can raise and lower the arm. And if we press the right joystick once, we activate the bucket’s parallel movement. If we press it again, we deactivate this function. For example, if you have connected two side tippers, we can also tip the trailer by pressing the directional pad up. And to tip the trailer, we have to press the directional pad down again. Last but not least, we have the Glass XER, which, of course, also moves forward with the lower right shoulder button and backward with the lower left shoulder button. The Xerion is also steered using the left joystick. [Music] We change the steering function by pressing the right joystick. The first press activates all-wheel steering. If we press it again, we activate the crab steering to the left. If we press it again, we activate the crab steering to the right. And if we press it again, we are back in normal steering mode. Then, by pressing the control pad to the left, we can move the cockpit, both in one direction and back again. We can then click through the light functions again with the A button. With the Y button, we switch through the flashing lights on the roof. And we also have the right indicator with the B button and the left indicator with the X button. We can also extend and retract the rear coupling here with the two upper shoulder buttons. Finally, a short conclusion here as well. I think it’s really cool that SIGO now also has gone the route of being able to control the Bluetooth models via the game controller, and in the age of consoles, most people will have at least one controller at home. I’ve already shown you the three other control options in a separate video. I’ll link that to you up here, although it will also be the case that the game controller will soon completely replace the normal SIO Bluetooth remote control and SIO will no longer produce its remote control. Of course, the game controller control will still work on iOS and Android and of course also with a tablet, e.g. Game, but as I said, it’s from app version 1.3.4. You can of course still switch back and forth between the models that are switched on with the game controller, just like you normally would with the app control. Apart from that, there’s not much to say. The controls work great. Of course, you do have to get used to it a bit, especially if you’ve driven a lot with the Sico remote control before. The controls generally remain proportional, although it naturally also depends a little on your controller as to how the controls work. In this game with the Xbox controller, for example, the excavator’s reversing is not proportional because the two top shoulder buttons are just buttons without a potentiometer. However, this isn’t so bad with the excavator. Otherwise, everything was proportional on the Xbox controller here and the other models too, i.e. steering and driving, for example.
