first flight back with uh with the repairs it was a shame we didn’t we couldn’t make content on it but yeah it’s going to be trial and error whether this thing flies she’s hit and miss and that’s what’s exciting about the hobby you know good day guys welcome to Mitch Cooper RC I’m Mitch we’re down at the local flying field today we’re back with the arrows Bigfoot we’ve glued it back to together we had a crash um we’re down here I’ve got my brother here who’s who’s keen on flying just got into it I got me best mate deal here I got the family here and we we’re down we’re going to try and run this Bigfoot again I have no idea how it’s going to fly um I’ve had to do a bit of gluing um I’ve taped the aerons back on and it’s going to be trial and error whether this thing flies so look guys that’s what fly’s about and I’m super excited um if this flies it’s going to be such an achievement just to get it back in the air and um I’ve been told that you know these things can be repaired so easy so it’s a beautiful day at the Flying Field we’re back at our local spot cuz we know this um this spot the best and um yeah we’re we’re out here the more people that get involved with RC planes the funner it is so we’re going to get out we’re going to fly this bad boy we’re going to see how she goes first flight back with uh with the repairs I put it down to the remote but I don’t I don’t actually know where whether that was the case you know so we’re going to give it another chance and we’re going to see how this thing flies me Brothers just picked up his little carbon Cub his little yellow boost um but he’s also got his he’s picked up a steel of a uh plane a little arenis that um great little flying plane um so he’s going to be flying that too and we’re going to have some fun let’s see how we go oh guys wish me luck cuz uh she’s hit and miss and that’s what’s exciting about about the hobby you know you just you just don’t know what you’re going to get but you know I’ve checked all the control services everything seems to be running beautiful so we can only try you know all righty let’s see what this beautiful beautiful girl that I’ve recovered everything’s working throttle elevator it’s even got flaps again which I never thought I’d get them going again but we’re going to we’re going to put them on for that I’m just going to check that safety’s on cuz we’re going to fight in safe for the first flight back all right so yeah here we are we’re going to send her out let’s hope for the best wish me luck we got flaps on uh I’m going to flick that on all right taking off [Applause] guys oh look at that cheese up like a jam she flying just like she did the first time we bought her that is gorgeous oh she’s flying a little bit to the right but you know that’s all right she’s actually flying really good look at that I am super proud of this guys I’ve managed to get this thing back in the air and uh she’s flying she’s got a little bit of uh yeah she’s wanting to turn to the left a bit but apart from that I mean she’s still flying good absolute gorgeous plan I think I’m going to flick her out of Scythe I think we’re pretty [Music] comfortable let’s see if she can do rolls like she used to yeah she’s a bit [Music] slower I’m just happy she’s flying again [Music] [Music] guys yes uh guys she’s back in the air she’s trying to fly to the left a bit but you know she’s flowing that’s the M [Music] thing little little r sto [Music] oh that feels like the first time yeah she’s just flying like a [Music] jam we got the flight time set at about 6 minutes uh let’s flick the flaps on see what we can do little touch and go little touch and go I’m not even going to I’m going to go around to another touch and go without flaps and see see what we can do here look at this we got the carbon car we got the big foot little touch and go here a [Music] beautiful we do uh store okay so the the rudder isn’t working as good as it used to but that’s all right what what what can we what can we do there you know like I’m just happy to have it back in the [Music] air yeah she’s beautiful she’s not she’s not doing what it like you [Music] know yeah not doing what she used to do but um guys when you’re videoing you’re making content you’re trying to fly it is a bit of a challenge but uh we get there with it let’s see what sort of roll right we got again [Music] let’s see if we can get a bit upside down flooring going okay that was sketch she’s loving the upside down look at that we’re nearly stallen in the air well that was nice nice little uh inverted flying let’s check the aleron rudder turns nice little turn let’s do touch and go touch and go here oh oh oh okay so the wind got that that uh that’s what can happen I haven’t done that before with the Bigfoot but uh she was a pretty pretty small pretty small little thing but we do have a little bit of wind guys so you know that’s what happens and uh we actually we’ll leave it at that because that is we’re just just on flight time now so it’s a bit hard you know to fly to be honest like you yeah you’re really going to have everyone behind you when you’re flying but yeah that’s all good we we got it down in one piece hopefully we didn’t do any damage we’re just going to see what we done here um but I think she’s fine wasn’t a hard hit at all we got it down in one piece perfect brand new I’m very happy everything’s working everything’s good we’re good guys we’re good the Bigfoot is officially back in the air so I’m super pumped with that guys um what I like I said what I actually did was I taped the aons um I don’t know how else I could have done it um if you guys have got any ideas um on how I could have done more with the aerons to fix them um what I’ve actually done I’ve put tape just a bit of tape I I had to glue a bit of the um Aon there that was snapped and I also put a toothpick in here so it sort of holds it pretty good and obviously the um the servo horns are holding it as well so um yeah she’s solid guys she flew it’s not it’s not flying as perfect as it did out of the box but what can you expect after you know pulling it through trees and toiling it me brother having a good time with his little little CB I’m telling you guys he’s little ready to fly he’s having a p of a time he’s absolutely loving it look at him he is living the dream there he comes look at that Ah that’s what fly’s about guys guys yesterday we were down the field my brother and um we actually had a little kid here at the football field they had a uh football presentation and and I think um yeah he’s seen the planes fly and he walked over and um we’ll find the little warb birds and and Ryan had his carbon cub and yeah I said to him he was he was interested in it and I I said um it was a shame we didn’t we couldn’t make content on it but yeah he he wanted to fly and I give him the controls I showed him how to fly and he was loving it he wants to he wants to he told his parent he wants to you know get into flying and learn how to fly and he was asking me how he can get involved with it and and that’s what it’s about guys it’s about um inspiring people to do this amazing hobby because it’s so fun look at him he’s just living the dream my brother over there he’s just here he comes he loves this little thing he just bought a new another battery for it today and she’s flying well we’ve got a little bit of wind but um yeah no she’s she’s going really well I love the sound of this thing I love how scale it is it’s actually his first plane and to be flying this little fella like it’s not the easiest plane to fly but you know he’s doing well to be flying this here he goes he’s coming in for a landing we’ll just see how his Landing is right near the dog poo oh look at that thaty beautiful he’s done it before he must have done it before so guys this is our plane flying at its best we’ve got the big foot up again and actually got one more pack to put through it and we’re going to fly with my brother with his Apprentice which is a little bit smaller than this but but a bit bigger than than his little Cub [Music] so she taxi is good for a little grass for a grass field yeah look this little thing o she’s over we just show the viewers this little plane here look at the scale on [Music] this what do you pick these up for about 150 200 bucks I think ready to fly yeah yeah so such a great little plane it’s got safe modes and all the rest of it so yeah we’re out here having fun my boy Dill’s going to have a Flo yes he’s going to he wants to have a g out of the warber we got the little p47 in the car so where we get that out and we’ll uh see how we go see how we go guys what are you reckon yes what do you want to fly deal the wallberg the wallberg mark wallberg yeah one yeah oh it’s good all right guys well we flew the Bigfoot we repaired it we got it going again the radio was good there was no brown outs the the there was no nothing wrong with the connection I think it was just when I I flick from the the Dual rates something there was loss of connection there so I’m just going to fly it now without flicking dual rates in the air cuz I think that’s where I lost signal but I’m happy she’s back in the air we’re living the dream and we’re flying again we’re going to get out and we’re just going to have some fun now
